Well, Dennis Tanner came back after 43 years. The actor who played Dennis, Philip Lowrie, received a world record for the longest gap between TV appearances in the same show.
Peter refusing to accept Daniel's donor offer is the same as Tracy; when Samir tested as a positive match for Tracy she was initially very reluctant, but in fairness to both Peter & Tracy I think most people are like that, it's probably just a sign of surprise and not being sure of how to take the news.
“It was bad luck for Samir” does Peter mean it was bad luck for Samir giving Tracy his kidney he does know Samir died because he was attacked and beaten up right ?
Personally, I'm not sure. Judging by the way Peter said it, he maybe didn't realise it was not the organ donation that killed Samir, it was the attack, as you said, that killed him. Had Samir not been attacked, he probably would've survived.
@@aoifekennedy9004 Honestly, Samir's death has been contradicted over the years. My understanding is, Samir was put on life support after being attacked and wasn't going to recover. With no choice, Diedre agreed to switch off the support and allow the doctors to use his kidney for Tracy, but he was going to sadly die either way. However, in the show, his death was concluded as "Accidental", as the police never caught the culprits. But, I remember a particular episode, Ken spoke about Diedre's past lovers and Samir was mentioned. Ken explained how he died after being attacked. So, I guess the characters held onto the belief that he was killed (which was the reality), despite the police recording his death as an accident.
Ken: “What’s changed ?”
Peter: “I met a woman”
Ken: “Ohh no”
😂
Reference to Samir Rachid! Wow, after 25 years!

@@lewiswise7808 ohh ok thank you I just wasn’t sure but thank you
@@aoifekennedy9004 You're welcome. As I said, I'm not absolutely sure, but if I was to take an educated guess I would say that.
@@lewiswise7808 that’s ok don’t worry about it thanks again 😊
