Both the police and the hospital treated her worse than they would treat a dog! They all need to be held accountable. I would like to see what care was actually rendered to her in the emergency room. Did she have any blood work, was a CT scan or MRI done and was a neurological exam performed? It is so convenient that they all claim no responsibility for her death. I call BS.

Those cops should get fired and jailed for negligence, not assisting her when she ask to go to a hospital, taking several minutes to get her inhaler but instead being mocked and treated like garbage, the family should sue the police, the city and the hospital who discharge her and call the police on her to get her out when she was obviously dying.
The hospital did not do their job SICKING TO THE CORE!!!!!!

I’m a Senior and I would feel so hurt with that kind of treatment and I would of felt so scared.They were mean to her abusing her in every way she died with no dignity how terribly grievous.
So glad to see the support for this poor senior citizen. I only wish I could be there. If only they had kept her long enough to stabilize her, maybe she would still be alive. She was neglected by hospital staff AND police. She was begging for her life. Their only response was to drag her around and throw her into the back of a squad car and haul her off to jail. Why? Because she wouldn't leave the premises. Why? BECAUSE SHE COULDN'T BREATHE AND COULDN'T WALK!! SHE WAS HAVING A STROKE!!

This is beyond disgraceful, the way that lady was left to die on the street, those officers should be absolutely ashamed of themselves, do they actually go home and be able to look they're families in the eye.

This story literally made me cry. It’s crazy how you don’t see the thin blue line crowd ever for scenarios like this. But they expect accountability and transparency from everyone they have an issue with. The scariest thing is that most of the time Reese has nothing to do with it. It’s just when a power trip meets and opportunity.

Most despicable scene. Prayers for the family. Rest in peace Ms. Edwards.
The police could have refused to transport her. Could have called an ambulance. The cop who was driving her didn't even pretend to do CPR. I don't even want to hear that they have no medical training, my 9 year old grandson knows how to do CPR. Everyone involved will have to answer to a higher power one day.

Me and my husband cried when we viewed this. They yelled and verbally abused her, ignored her pleas for air, and they let her die. No wonder nobody trusts doctors or police these days.

She wasn't discharged from the hospital after her condition was made stable. This was patient dumping. The hospital said she refused to leave when the truth is she was physically incapable of leaving without assistance. The cops and hospital are 100% responsible for this lady's death.

Negligent homicide is defined as a crime where you commit some act of criminal negligence, and the act results in the killing of another person.
Protest in front of Lisa's children's home, they abandoned their mother.
What where they going to do if they were there? Get criminally trespassed from the hospital and get thrown to jail? That probably would've saved Lisa though right?
@Power Corrupts well if we'd all stand up and DO WHAT WERE SUPPOSED TO DO then things would start happening !! it's being multiplied in the thousands but unbeknownst to most. By all who uphold the concept of if you don't have mega tons of money and don't pay a ""real"tor" then there is no inside you have any right to be !

No more internal affairs investigations where they will find themselves innocent and continue on doing this to others, before someone stands up and takes them out! This needs to go before a 12-member jury and be tried by the people period.... No more qualified immunity, permit to break any (Land) law and be excused all the time for what they done. And if nothing is done then DEFUND THE KNOXVILLE TN POLICE!!!!!
