My son is 10 years old (he was born in 2008), I am 45 (I was born in 1973). We are both Queen's music right now. The feeling that my son has is the same as the one I had exactly 34 years ago. Pure emotion. We both cry and laugh. QUEEN has exceeded time. I am sure that in the same way that they have reached the soul of millions and millions of us, they feel the same (the desire to continue feeling the connection with us). Eternal gratitude.
Not surprising to me --- Queen was simply a really good music group rooted firmly in the essence of '50s rock with their own style and sound --- much like AC/DC, Aerosmith, Zeppelin, Stones, RUSH, Chuck Berry, and a host of others from the '60s, '70's, and 80's. These kinds of bands and musicians often sounded far ahead of their time while being of their time, and delivering their own brand of a real Rock'n'Roll punch. Not true for any of the bands since Nirvana, who for some inexplicable haven't figured that out. So now instead of bands coming on the heels of Queen and others with the same essential '50s element, we have a vapid music diet of Taylor Swift, a too-long horriblation called Beyonce, and all forms of Rap and Hip-Hop that I wish had died at their birth with the Sugar Hill Gang. Radio Ga-Ga indeed --- And never have Queen's words been more true than now.

I took a stroll in my town last afternoon and evening and I heard this song on a boom box (but not really loud) of a group of people who were preparing a picnic. Suddenly, I was taken back to 1984, when I was 19. I felt an overflow of nostalgia. Now, in the wee hours, I felt the need to listen to this again. A nostalgic song for a nostalgic moment 35 years later.
No need to feel nostalgic --- Queen will be playing on the radio and on our turntables and in our future transportation devices and in our hearts long after the likes of Taylor Swift and her current Billboard Albums cohorts have finally and mercifully faded from our picture frames. Even the current generation can't deny true talent --- I even recently saw a black guy in front of the WalMart near where I live singing 'Sweet Home Alabama' and two black girls sporting AC/DC tee shirts. Who knows? Maybe the next generation will bring all the best parts of Rock'n'Roll back again to take down the Ga-Ga and the Goo-Goo.

Brian talked about how incredible it was to be on the Wembley stage at Live Aid and to witness the audience participation on this song, when Queen had never performed it live up to then and they only have the video to go on. The other thing which comes to mind for me is how Roger had specifically written the song to be driven by the drum machine and the synthesizer, while his in-concert performance at the drums sounded as if he had been performing it that way from day one.
My will states this is the song to be played until I am ashes. 58 years old and something crazy called colon cancer is taking me out. Freddie said it best: dead and gone. Good life, no regrets. God is my strength.

Radio was what started all these science fiction movies. From Orson Wells and his Mars invaders on earth. People back then, the ones who missed the begining of the show, really thought we were invaded. That was amazing.😊😊❤❤ Young people do not know what using their imagination is.
Dont worry guys. Your awesome music will always be remembered.
Hopefully I'm not the only one doing the hand clap fist pump during the chorus!
Beth S. I'm right there with you Beth!
Come on guys clap with me!
Nope
I'm right there with ya 👏👏
👊👏
Brian talked about how incredible it was to be on the Wembley stage at Live Aid and to witness the audience participation on this song, when Queen had never performed it live up to then and they only have the video to go on. The other thing which comes to mind for me is how Roger had specifically written the song to be driven by the drum machine and the synthesizer, while his in-concert performance at the drums sounded as if he had been performing it that way from day one.
2019: so amazing
3019: so amazing
Queen aways will be amazing
Jeon Stan 4019 wow

Ohhhh Fred 😭 I love this song he make me cry 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
My will states this is the song to be played until I am ashes. 58 years old and something crazy called colon cancer is taking me out. Freddie said it best: dead and gone. Good life, no regrets. God is my strength.
Una de mis canciones preferidas de Queen, que no hubiera sido lo mismo sin la voz de Freddy.
Gracias por tu enorme talento , Freddy, y que seas feliz allá donde te encuentres.
1984 on a Lufthansa flight from Atlanta to Frankfurt Germany. They gave us headphones to listen to pre recorded music during the flight. This song was on the trac. It's amazing what memories a song can bring back
True iconic pioneers of early MTV
