I cannot convey how much I love this series and these people. What a breath of fresh air in a world gone stagnant and mad. These salt of the earth folks are what people are supposed to be like. No Wall Street and Madison Avenue posers, just simple, good people were depicted. Thank you Bill Landry and Crew. You've made the last ten days extremely enjoyable.
I had the joy of spending an entire day tatting with Mrs. Grace Felker after first seeing her on this segment of The Heartland Series. We corresponded via letter for a time after. She was such a warm, gracious, generous lady. I've wanted to see this segment again and share it with other tatters for so long. Thanks so much for sharing it!
Bill's love for this area is so important to our history. Our children should be offered this in school studies. I do hope people see the importance of these film. Thank you for this.
Does anyone remember the episode where Bill visited with 2 gentlemen building what they called a "Clinch River boat"? Small and very simple. you set on the stern and bow
Please add more volumes. These are wonderful!

Are you still making DVD’s? I only need 4 seasons to have complete collection. Very expensive so I only buy 3 a year
Like to know where I can purchase more of these
