surprisingly good mob spawner, i thought most of the comments were botted but i guess not, very efficient and can give you alot of levels for mending, aswell as stuff for tnt and trading with clerics. though i do recommend adding ALL of the blocks rather then just the building blocks for the actual farm, and adding a rail so you dont fall off by accident. also light up the surrounding area for extra gains and turn down ur sim distance
Works in Java 1.21, built it in a desert beside an ocean with an underground cavern nearby. - I added another level below for more spawns, seems to slightly increase rates. I tried adding it on top at first, but mobs are dying from fall damage. - I had a issue with building the bottom tower with water and lava, it stopped halfway. I just picked up and poured the lava over the remaining water and added blocks manually through the centre - It works without carpets if you want spider spawns, but do expect some delays from time to time. I recommend building a spider farm
For all my bedrock people. You have to plant the kelp on soul sand first, go all the way up, break it at the bottom, then switch the soul soil with soul sand and you should be good 👍🏽

I just made this farm and it works. It's probably not the fastest, but it certainly gets the job done. Make sure you turn down your simulation distance. Also, if you use the afk method, know that witches will survive because they drink potions to resist fire and heal themselves and stuff. I came back after about an hour or so and a couple witches were down there in the fire.

@ugniuxas YEAH. I broke in there once to make sure it was dark and it is. I will try waiting longer. Sometimes the mobs will climb up too, and the spider don't always fall, they climb. Maybe it's just Bedrock being weird, dunno

In Minecraft bedrock you just need to cover/ light up all underground nearby caves (up to at least 300 - 350 blocks in each direction) in order to increase spawnings on the mob farm...or you can build this mob farm in the high limmit or above the sea to work better and have a lot of mobs Me personally i should promote you to light up all caves because this will increase mob spawning to the specific location surely while the other 2 methods aren't going to surely work
Maybe a little help to all the water buckets, u can use 1 more kelp to multiply water blocks. Place water with bucket and kelp one block underneath. Than get the new water block at the kelp position for as long u need. Replace kelp, for next bucket. Kelp grows on copple stone.
In your unique case, i’d recommend you light up every spot where mobs could spawn in your world and build the farm as low as you can. Mob spawning gets better the lower you go. Instead of towering up start from 2:39
Okay so I built this in bedrock and it’s really not that bad… until the spiders.. so idk if that’s what people in the comments mean when they tell bedrock users not to build this but the only issue for had is like once every maybe 30-45 minutes I’ll have to go up a ladder and shoot like 20 spiders clogging the hole. So to bedrock users it’s really still kinda viable just don’t go afk a lot or make sure to periodically check the spawner.
I set this up and it worked perfectly until after an hour of it running I realized I didn't get the trap doors. it still worked without them though so maybe the monsters are just stupid. also I would recommend adding another chest because the skeletons bows can fill up your chest quickly
I can't seem to get the lava to fall all the way down and then when I do the water, that stops wherever the lava stopped. Do I need to jump down, then climb back up again maybe? Instead of killing sheep, grab two iron ingots (either smelted or looted) and make shears. You get far more wool in comparison (1-3 instead of just 1), and you can keep the sheep in a small pen to farm wool from them. Their wool regrows after eating from a grass block if they've been sheared.
