Thanks to IAAF World Athletics for uploading these races. One request to you, please keep uploading the older races and of all track events 100m to 10,000m. I love watching these and request you to keep them coming!
If you look at this Race keenly from start to finish Vivian Cheruiyot knew her assignment. She never bothered or panicked she knew her biggest threat was Burka and she ran behind her the whole race until the last 200m when she made her move
Much credit to bronze medalist Infeld. #3 American going into the race, rose to the occasion, and raced through the finish line. What a moment for her.
Once in a lifetime medal chance and huddle had done everything right - until the end ! The fact that she celebrated early & her teammate won because of it must have made it totally unbearable as she’d have seen first hand the celebrations in her USA camp - the local and national news reports and had to hear first hand the story that she ought to have been living . Shame . The flag lap celebration looked so good for Infeld she was over the moon but the collapsing of Huddle on the track as it dawned on her what she’d lost is heartbreak !
Its incredible how the commentators failed to mention Emily Infield even once from the starting line and also throughout the entire race until she outdipped Huddle for the bronze...congrats to her for the hard work.
@@Anzomax2Didn't do nothing? She was in that huge pack who were all in contention and all "doing something". She made her move when it really counted, unlike Molly committing the cardinal sin of celebrating early and PAYING for it.
Much respect for these world class distance runners but why is it that the Japanese always take to the lead way to early and end up getting swallowed up by the competition mid-way point. Do they just expect to lose against the east africans and europeans then why try i mean come on. Very brave effort from Huddle taking the fight.
I think a better question is why don't more competitors take the pace up early, surely they know by now they can't outkick the East Africans. At least the Japanese recognize their weakness and play to their own strength which is a steady if unspectacular pace.
Molly Huddle should have sat right for the last lap, the e. Africans were feeding off her energy. Maybe if she held back just a tad bit, it could have been good for a silver or bronze.

I just love the Kenya vs Ethiopia competition. Excellent athletes from each country pushing each other to the limit.
It's was our day but our neighbors Ethiopia so close, we love you Ethiopia, it won't be the same without you,
Brutal. Molly Huddle’s closest bid for an international medal in her track career.
Don’t think Molly ever celebrated early again after this race.
I finally saw a Japanese runner racing smart for her best result, not racing dumb for just 10 first minutes of fame.

Lesson for the day... Do not celebrate before winning anything... That's for you Huddle...
🤣

Mama Africa weldone and welcome
4:40 last 1600m, 60s last lap.
Vivian Cheriyiot the greatest of all times
I LIKE THAT ASIAN WOMAN WHO HANGED ON WITH THE MAIN GROUP FOR LONG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!
The race is 31 minutes. World Athletics how can you possibly post the race video in 23 minutes length? I mean I just want to talk
I guess they deleted those parts where they switch to other events like long jump or javelin.

@@Anzomax2 what counts is who crossed the line first
Finally a interesting video
Watch the final 4 minutes of the womens marathon bejing 2015 world championships
"All the Kenyans are there"
"All the Ethiopians are there"
You forgot to say that
All the Americans are there too!!
Wow, I feel so bad for Huddle which did a great job, only to be out-dipped at the very end. That hurt!
Nobody to blame but herself. No excuse for that and she knows it.
Can we get the 2007 world champs videos
Vivian the Kenya really champion#@cherioti
Run such a great race but you just had to start your celebration BEFORE crossing the finish eh? That costs a medal.
Good day,
What race!
24july2020-
Huddle made it look easy, super relaxed
Yeah made 4th place look easy 🤣
