I think the saddest part about all of this is that Danzo exploited Itachi's past experiences into forcing Itachi to make a choice. Danzo and the other elders letting Itachi know that if he didn't slaughter his clan, another war within the village could break out, was another tactic to exploit his emotions. @@halfmarco9549 They never trusted the Uchiha. Otherwise, they would have let them back into the village instead of leaving on the outskirts of the village due to the second hokage.
The reason because Danzo said including children, its because they would go after revenge when they grow up, just like Sasuke did, and the reason they made an uchiha be the leader of the massacre, is to divert any blame of Konoha, so if there was more survivors and Konoha was held responsible, the survivors (innocent children who saw their parents die in front of them), the would go after revenge, Danzo is an asshole but, he got a point, its a shinobi world, their morals are different
Exactly that’s what I said literally the whole point of itachi choice was he made a mistake leaving sasuke alive because of the hatred that made him evil so imagine if it was 100 sasuke all uchiha coming for the leaf it would start a war in the fire nation and he the same thing itachi didn’t want to happen
@@icy8030 come on, do you remember when the pain attacked, he was sitting in the basement like a rat, and he had a plan to go out and become the main ruler of the corpses. I understood one thing Danzo is not a person who worries about the inhabitants of Konoha, he worries about the foundation of power that he may not receive or lose
So yeah, Itachi has that heartbreaking moment where he has to kill Fugaku and Mikoto, and then if you recall since the flashback ended on Sasuke peeking into the room, Itachi had to go from that to playing the psychopathic villain just like that.
This episode has one of the best sentences in this arc. Itachis parents anknowleding their son and his decision is powerful, also this line about their pain being gone in an instand while he still has to suffer ... it must be hard for a parent to know what pain will await their child in the future. I really love that they are still proud of him, even if they don´t agree. And though you can argue what kind of parents Fugaku and Mikoto were, they were definitely real Shinobi who didn´t run away as death was coming for them. Instead they sat there waiting for it and it somehow reminded me of the Samurais Harakiri. It gives off the feeling of a more honorable death. For me the most powerful scene is as Itachi is crying on his sword right before killing his parents. The only thing I always found a bit off was Itachis "Now I believe that you could perhaps have changed mother and father" because no, I absolutly can´t see them (or anyone else in the Uchiha, to be honest) to listen to litte Sasuke and overthinking their plans. As sad as it is, at that time Sasuke didn´t hold any power and had no saying in the clan
a while back madara: never speak of that name(harshirama) in front of me again. also madara: let me tell you guys how much of a fuckin G hashirama is. man, he was so fuckin strong i love him so much.
Nah he isn't. The thing that ppl use to say this is from that from a statement of Fugaku's subordinates, who thought that he should be also chosen as candidate for hokage position, if Minato can be chosen against Orochimaru. Afterall Fugaku also had contribution in war. Thats why ppl directly think that as he is powerful as Minato, just coz no name guys think that Fugaku should be hokage too. Even Minato's name was given out of nowhere during vote by Hiruzen. When ppl clealry thought that Hiruzen would for sure choose Orochimaru. But Minato had every quality and feats to be Hokage. And Fugaku don't have MS. Even if he had, user has to be as strong as Obito and Madara to control tail beast as they are large chakra beings. Obito clealry have Hashirama cells to boost and add senju bloodline boost to his Uchiha bloodline, that why he just used normal Sharingan to do that. Madara is both strong and have EMS.

He destroyed mountains that were miles away with a simple swing of his sword.... Madara was pretty broken, that's considering (spoilers.....) That Madara was still far from the height of power he would come to conquer.
@@c3p6 Right. But let's be honest. You probably never imagined that things would escalate to this ridiculous level. Hell, this makes Sarutobi vs the 1st and 2nd Hokage look like three little kids having a misunderstanding. When the first ep came out, I was like okay. A nine tails fox. Okay, the show needed something to keep the viewers in place. The Hokage lost his life to seal it away-understandable. They set a bar. A high bar that seemed impossible to reach. Then Orochimaru showed up and just barely killed the Third Hokage. Okay, the bar went a bit higher. Now from here and out, I certainly expected Naruto to use the Nine tails power and become just, if not stronger than a Hokage-perhaps even surpassing the bar. The Mangekyo came along, and I was still okay with that. The tales of the Sage of Six Paths-i guess it's normal that the ancestors of all Shinobi would be so OP. He's dead anyway. But wait, Madara is freaking strong, and Hashirama isn't as weak as we thought? Okay, still normal to assume just from one encounter. Rinnegan? Okay, they did say mythology. So I guess a reincarnation isn't that bad. But wait, there's a Susano 👀 hmm, well, it doesn't look like much. Hold up! Madara's Susano...is like a freaking Gundam 👀👀.... And that's sums all my experience with the show 🤣🤣🤣🤣

" Nobody should question itachi's pain and choice " . When tobi said it before and now with " your pain is far worse and longer than us " , gives an insight of itachi 💯 . He made the best choice for everyone and the worst for himself . And no . There is no saving children or anybody . Think about it . The options are , 1 the leaf will kill all of them themselves and gets weakened and it triggers a war and ... . 2 , you kill them urself . Trash ur name . Live with the burden of this sin . But you can save sasuke and the uchiha's name at least . Nobodies' death is on itachi . They were about to die either way . He didn't choose someone's death . It's just painful that danzo made itachi do it himself . And the uchiha's massacre is much more brutal in novels . And alot sadder 💯
I agree, but we have to realize that itachi's decision was still selfish, his actions still caused a lot of issues later on. for example, giving sasuke literal ptsd wheb he was 6/7 years old, to make him grow up with the idea of revenge, the later sasuke kills many people himself, joins the akatsuki and commits actual terrorists attacks against Bee (The Cloud) and all 5 great nations (Summit). this takes nothing away from the sacrifies itachi made and his legacy but it does put into light itachis faults, shows how human he is and that hes not this all knowing, perfect plannig genius
Killing the children is to avoid future retribution like what Sasuke was doing. If you leave all of the kids alive and they learn what happened, especially in a clan like the Uchiha where pain and loss gives them strength, then all you're doing is delaying conflict rather than removing it. It's cold blooded pragmatism.
When you guys get to the end of the series then I will comment on Danzo and his ongoing role in this series... he is a great character and Kishimoto wrote him so well. Oh and by the way that moment with Shisui was more than likely the day before the whole confrontation with Itachi over Shisui's death, when Sasuke screamed for him to stop (scaring him) and Itachi gave them the whole you stick too close to this clan speech... because he had already lost his best friend because of it and didn't say.
This episode did it justice to everyone of us, left our heart torn and all weepy. Now, let's wait for the all-knowing and the wholesome hit like a truck
The problem wasn't solely with Danzo. He was the product of the shinobi system, where people are expendable and treated like tools. The truth is people like Danzo always existed in every single village all over the world.

I can understand Danzo's actions against Shisui I'm not saying I'm agree with him but I understand why he did it, Kotoamatsukami is a really scary power I mean, how do you know you're not already doing what Shisui wants? As viewers we know that they both wanted to protect the village but as I said Kotoamatsukami is that scary and there's no way to know if you're acting of your own free will or not.
Shisui didn't have the personality that craved power or control. Which is probably why his eyes were so strong. But to attack Shisui with intent to kill him was a waste of his genes. The leaf could have been unbelievably strong if the Uchiha weren't killed.
Nope. Danzo took that power for himself almost entirely. He viewed the entire clan as an immediate threat to the village using the ninetail attack as proof without ever stopping to ask why or even ponder the thought. To say his actions were justified because the POTENTIAL is dangerous only to secretly claim it for himself is wrong and arrogant.
@@Freshboii_tru Exactly. A civil war would have definitely started a greater war among nations.......not necessarily. Knowledge that the scariest and most powerful clan (potentially) got wiped out by their own village would definitely be incentive, if not more so, for other nations to attack.

@@halfmarco9549 They never trusted the Uchiha. Otherwise, they would have let them back into the village instead of leaving on the outskirts of the village due to the second hokage.
@@ghost245353 yeah cause of fckin madara using kyuubi lol he cool tho
@@halfmarco9549 Nah. More like because of the senju nepotism and the hatred that Tobirama and then later his student danzo brought
@@filipgasic2642 What hate did Tobirama bring?
The reason because Danzo said including children, its because they would go after revenge when they grow up, just like Sasuke did, and the reason they made an uchiha be the leader of the massacre, is to divert any blame of Konoha, so if there was more survivors and Konoha was held responsible, the survivors (innocent children who saw their parents die in front of them), the would go after revenge, Danzo is an asshole but, he got a point, its a shinobi world, their morals are different
Yeah, the whole thing's so complex
Exactly that’s what I said literally the whole point of itachi choice was he made a mistake leaving sasuke alive because of the hatred that made him evil so imagine if it was 100 sasuke all uchiha coming for the leaf it would start a war in the fire nation and he the same thing itachi didn’t want to happen
By trying to "protect" the leaf Danzo ultimately caused it's destruction. Simply put he was just paranoid and bad at his job.
This episode proved me that Itachi is the best character ever created in anime world
Surely, they killed the children to prevent that when they grow up, they take revenge when perhaps they find out the truth.
That's a cool way to justify it! Killing babies and children because fd up adults decides they will turn evil xD
@@jayjoe3716 Of course it's completely wicked, but I mean Sasuke was sparred & look at how strong + what he choose as course of action as he grew up
Yeah just imagine a bunch of sasukes destroying konoha after learning the truth
So yeah, Itachi has that heartbreaking moment where he has to kill Fugaku and Mikoto, and then if you recall since the flashback ended on Sasuke peeking into the room, Itachi had to go from that to playing the psychopathic villain just like that.
Itachi to me, is the best written character of all time and it's not even close..
No matter how many times I watch this, I will always tear up...
"How did Hashirama stopped him !"
Oh the answer is easy. Hashirama is the true GOAT shinobi and no one compare.
Easy as that.
Hashirama: Itachi better than me
Hashirama he's the only real Wood element user
Naruto and Sasuke are better shinobi than Hashirama and Madra though
@@telmocarvalho3305 after they get 10 power boost out of nowhere 🤷🏻♂️ ...even Tenten would be!

madara: never speak of that name(harshirama) in front of me again.
also madara: let me tell you guys how much of a fuckin G hashirama is. man, he was so fuckin strong i love him so much.
Itachi my favorite character and someone very important to this story. Having a very dignified farewell in front of the person you loved the most
Oh look at me crying at this for the 84th time
same here
loved the reaction!!

Thanks for watching! :)
fun fact - itachi's dad (fugaku uchiha)is as powerful as fourth hokage namikaze minato ,he can even control the tailed beast with his eye power
Wicked eye Fugaku
I still can't get over the fact that itachi was only thirteen when all that happened
I watched this scene so many times that I got immune to crying at this scene, but now after seeing her cry, I am crying again 😭😭
itachi remains and will always be a Hero in the shadows.. thankyou Itachi you are the best character
Madara unleasing his Perfect Susanoo will always be iconic.
When I first saw his Perfect Susano, I was like: wasn't this show suppose to be about ninjas?
@@alejandrogutierrezflores2161 lmao
@@alejandrogutierrezflores2161 it's funny how people say that yet from the very first episode it established that there were giant monster creatures and ninjas that use magic lmao. Not to mention alot of the powers and elements in the Narutoverse come from religion and mythology
He destroyed mountains that were miles away with a simple swing of his sword.... Madara was pretty broken, that's considering (spoilers.....)
That Madara was still far from the height of power he would come to conquer.
And that's sums all my experience with the show 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Itachi is the best written character in the series. Next to Gaara imo. Such an amazing character. One of my favorites for sure.
I think it’s pretty easily naruto n sasuke tbh
I consider itachi to be the best written character too....but dk bout gaara... he's good too but there are many other better written characters than gaara I'd say
@@Ryuenn24 It's hard to write a evil character that shifts to being good, while making the transition seem believable and for the right reasons. Id go into more detail, but I'd have to go into spoiler territory and I don't wanna do that to the OPs.

338: sad yet?
339: hold my tears
You guys will need to watch the arc about Itachi's past to see what went on with Shisui and why Itachi chose this fate, how he really grew up to have this mindset
I only noticed on my last reread but Itachi pulling Sasuke's closer to him instead of pushing him away with his finger is a super cool detail
The fact that the clones are using Susanoo means that when Madara asked them if they wanted them to use it.
They said yes.
Itachi is the definition of "SHINOBI"
You truly are a kind child
in that moment, sasuke realized that forehead "poke" which itachi does to him always is his way to say "i love you"
(itachi's language) the forehead "poke" = i love you
That man itachi makes us to cry in 2 different places
I can't wait to see the reaction to the next episode 😂
He is the true Peacemaker🥺🥲...Many other characters in Naruto have gone through hell alot...but Itachi...He is so pure🥺...Killing his Clan that he have been with since child, killing his parents and his lover(included in the manga)..."The hardest choice requires the strongest will"...
Toda vez q eu vejo esse ep eu choro credo kk ..This episode always makes me cry lol
I had waited for this for so long. This is like Christmas. 😭
Me too
it’s the end of one of the most iconic character in anime
No matter what path sasuke choose Itachi said "I will love you always"
Thatttt hurttttttt
I am watching this video not to see reaction but crying devi. 😭
I thought the full scene shows Shisui intentionally walking off the cliff's edge. He definitely committed suicide.
That scene is in later episode
Well he was poisoned by an aburame and was going to die anyway
Itachi is the best written character in the anime history for me
No, Goku is much better
Madara's perfect susano'o is even bigger than the boulder he summoned into battlefield when we fought the army. I mean the boulder beside it
Danzo is the mastermind behind all of this, because he doesn't trust Shisui at all to take care of everything with his kotoamatsukami jutsu.
You guys should watch the itachi backstory episodes later on in the show.
Itachi shippuden
the scene of him holding back his tears, breaks me every time 😭😭😭
I always look forward to these reactions every day. Goated channel 🐐
You are truly a kind child
When I first watched this it made me cry, and still does tbh
Killing the children is to avoid future retribution like what Sasuke was doing. If you leave all of the kids alive and they learn what happened, especially in a clan like the Uchiha where pain and loss gives them strength, then all you're doing is delaying conflict rather than removing it. It's cold blooded pragmatism.
I had been waiting for this. You guys are awesome
"What the fuck, they're children... wtf are they gonna do"
I'll answer that question later in the future episodes.... there's a reason why
Itachi will forever be the GOAT and my favorite character 💙
It's even sadder when you know what Itachi did to his girlfriend, Izumi Uchiha.
Jigen: That's Cute....
The problem wasn't solely with Danzo. He was the product of the shinobi system, where people are expendable and treated like tools. The truth is people like Danzo always existed in every single village all over the world.
Great episode for Sasuke and itachi Brothers ❤️
Keep in mind that Hashirama beat Madara's Perfect Susanoo AND the full Kyuubi.
Cuz he had no rinnegans)))
@@davitkurdadze7198 is that an excuse lol ?, the only reason he awakened the rinnegan because he got hashirama cells otherwise he wouldn’t be able to get it by his own strength

Keep it up great channel guys ! Love you from France 😊
That guy is a militarist and power obsessed freak, he doesn't care for his citizens, he wiped an entire clan merely becuase he hated them and also becuase he. Saw them as a threat ,danzo deserved death
If shisui was able to cast kotoamatsukami on fugaku it can solve the problem easily
It's crazy how we all cry over a character, not a real person. Story maaan
"What the children gonna do?" Revenge.
See the path choosen by Sasuke, if we have more uchiha alive, even if kids, there was be a huge problem for konoha.
Maybe Konoha can get it
@@mvmsma At that time, konoha have a broke system of living. Look the way that naruto grew up, the hokage did everything to make naruto a bad person.
