OKAY SO I DID ONE MORE UNDERTALE SONG, SHOOT ME.
But in all honesty, how could I not? Undertale has undeniably propelled me forward, and I created some of my favorite covers from it. Plus, I never actually did my favorite song, which was this one. And I knew if I was going to do Undertale again, it would have to be PERFECT. So I created what I think is a good musical representation of the battle; a quiet start to represent the battle beginning, then it gets big and loud to represent the battle starting, with a lot of energy. Then it quiets down again, to represent Undyne getting knocked back, but as the song builds up again, it's her last stand against the true villain of the story. And the very end just symbolizes exactly how most of us felt about winning the battle. These are the kind of things I think about when arranging. There are even references to all other songs that the Spear Of Justice motif appear in, such as Ruins and NGAAAAAAAH. But I hope you all enjoy this, as it will prob be my only new Undertale cover for a while, as there really isn't anything else from the game I really wanna cover. This was as intense as the fight in the game, man. You captured the feeling flawlessly while at the same time totally making it your own thing. True visionary.
The first time I heard this remix I thought you butchered it, and that all the other metal covers of True Hero were better in every sense. However, on a sudden desire to listen to undertale covers again, I found this again and decided to give it another go. And I'm not sure exactly what changed but this all of a sudden hits literally every single spot. I can just somehow imagine a young child with a knife deflecting wave after wave after wave of magical spears to this. Thank you for making this.
10/10 best song in the OST.
