Once Nezuko becomes Human and the battle against Muzan is finally over, everyone gets time to settle down and just enjoy life together, and during that process Zenitsu finally wins Nezuko over, as the two eventually get married and move in together, making Zenitsu Tanjiro’s brother in law! The issue with Zenitsu though is that he’s EXTREMELY protective over Nezuko, and sees anyone overly nice to her as competition. A good example is Zenitsu’s newly developed rivalry with Giyuu, who gets very close with Nezuko on a friendly level after the final battle, sending her multiple gifts like a new Kimono, some Western Clothes, and ornaments for her hair, as a way of thanking her for resewing and restoring his Haori which was destroyed during the fight against Muzan, and was a memento of his friend Sabito. Every day Nezuko and Zenitsu would visit Giyuu until he woke up from the coma he goes into from his injuries against Muzan, and Zenitsu would have a vein in his head, whenever his wife called out for Giyuu to wake up.

Giyuu started giving things to Nezuko since he left the Butterfly Mansion after going into a coma (at that time Zen's relationship with Nezuko was just a self-proclaimed lover/husband)

I think Zenitsu is internally jealous. I dont think he stops Nezuko from being herself or doing what she wants. He knows her more as the series goes on and after muzan is killed, he gets to know her more. He saved her multiple times, and he loves her regardless if he knew her well or not. He could tell how pure Tanjiro was, so he knows Nezuko is pure as well! He may be obsessed, but he does love her enough to let her keep doing her things. Everyone is hating on Zenitsu. He had no hope finding anyone, but when he finally gets the girl he truly loves, of course he'll want to protect her at all cost, even from other men. Leave the poor man alone!
Sorry, but no. He’s abusive as all hell. I recognize it from the decades of abuse my mom suffered under my dad. Zenitsu being so jealous of other guys that he immediately sees them as competition is NOT a sign of a healthy relationship or a good partner. My dad was so deluded that he’d scream at my mom for hours because he convinced himself that she was cheating or talking behind his back and Zenitsu actively being antagonistic towards other guys *just because they’re nice to her* gives off that same vibe.

I think Zenitsu is internally jealous. I dont think he stops Nezuko from being herself or doing what she wants. He knows her more as the series goes on and after muzan is killed, he gets to know her more. He saved her multiple times, and he loves her regardless if he knew her well or not. He could tell how pure Tanjiro was, so he knows Nezuko is pure as well! He may be obsessed, but he does love her enough to let her keep doing her things. Everyone is hating on Zenitsu. He had no hope finding anyone, but when he finally gets the girl he truly loves, of course he'll want to protect her at all cost, even from other men. Leave the poor man alone!

3. Unfortunately, the series ends after Muzan is killed unless you dive into spin-off material, which isn't really the same thing. Most people aren't going to read spin-offs
4. Saving somebody does not entitle your to their love. And being obsessed with somebody that you don't even know can hardly be called love. He's attracted to and obsessed with her, but I'd struggle to call it love
5. Nezuko's purity doesn't mean that he deserves her or anything
6. The reason why Zenitsu has no hope for finding anyone is because he's the type of person who will cling to a random woman and beg her to marry him. He is obviously extremely possessive, and he clearly views women as a prize to obtain rather than people to understand. Someone who would harass a woman to beg them to marry him doesn't deserve to be in a relationship.
If he wants to find love, he needs to be a better person. Saving someone's life is not the bottom line because that doesn't mean anything for a relationship

I don’t feel bad for her. Zenitsu isn’t perfect (everyone knows that) but his love for Nezuko is completely genuine. Not to mention, Zenitsu is a master sword fighter comparable to Tanjiro and Inosuke. It’s not like he’s useless. He’s a badass. He’s got his issues but he’s a good person with a good heart. As far as dating and marrying go, I’d say Nezuko lucked out. Zenitsu is awesome (now that I think about it, he’s basically the Krillin of Demon Slayer. He got best girl despite his cowardice and other flaws. He beat the odds).

@@N_Tertainment7 yep. It’s a thing that is (unfortunately) rare. It’s one of the things that make Zenitsu one of my favorite characters. He’s a good guy with a good heart who loves people despite their flaws or circumstances (like Nezuko being a demon for most of the series).

It's the Taisho era, nobody cared about that, Kagaya married his 17 year old wife when he was 13. Also Nezuko was 15 at the time of the final battle I'm pretty sure.
