I went to go walk the dog and got stopped half way out the door when I heard my username. I’m doing great thanks for asking guys, laughed my ass off at the jokes about my appearance. Glad my wee story gave a nice start to the mailbag, thanks for the shoutout!
In case you took it the wrong way, even if you took it well, I think all Lewis was saying was that you must have a distinctive look. That doesn't have to be bad! 🙂 Just recognisable . Also have you donated before during jingle jam or armchair admirals I recognise your name too.
@@montgomeryharr30 uhhh thanks? I feel like my comment kinda clearly shows I took it well… but hey thanks for the reassurance but you can see why it was a bit patronising 🙂
@@atomicsnowglobe5582 I have a habit myself of thinking the worst of things even if I take them well. Was just hoping you hadn't done the same. Sorry to come off patronising 🙂
Love that little question from Lewis after Pyrion and Sips start giving their breakup advice. "Have either of you ever been through a breakup?" Kinda shows you can't just go to older people for everything -- they haven't experienced it all
Oh man, I'm still affected by a breakup that happened 18 months ago. That "you're young, don't worry about it" response is so dismissive, I wasn't surprised when Sips and Pyrion admitted to not having ever experienced a serious breakup. Glad Lewis came in clutch with his perspective
I sent in an email after the last mailbag. Then, almost immediately after I pressed send, I went back and reread what I'd sent. Definitely straight into Pyrion's deleted items folder.
I've been listening to your podcasts all the last 2 months instead of as you bring them out and it's such good dad humor and honesty. Yall are the absolute best. It brings such delight all day long. I also watch every ttt episode the day it comes out. Almost 8 years running and I still love it! He'll I've probably gone to sleep with it on my TV a few thousand times now because you guys are always so darn happy. Tom and Ben's Warhammer stuff is awesome and SO so much more. Right now tho I've been enjoying your podcasts from years ago all the time. It's a great delight to listen to you dads just yap about stuff. Don't ever stop being so cool!
I like how Lewis mentions Ben having a generic average Joe face, he also said the same in that episode where pyrion told the story about him lining up at the cop station lol
On the subject of woodlice, I have a friend who calls them Uncle gravy/ies! I've always called them woodleys but because of woodlice, not just some random term!
I'm pretty sure he was referring to the mail sender's perspective when he said that. So when he said "someone" he wasn't referring to himself, just making comparison to the senders situation and his past experiences.
They definitely fail people for driving. But also you will basically be homeless if you don't have a car you can drive. Literally like not public transit if you don't live in a bigger city. People definitely can still work without a car especially if they have dwi/dui. But cities and even small towns are designed car first. So everything is so spaced out. Good luck if you live in a suburban or the country.
When I was a teller, I regularly had people at the drive up send in an ID that said it was for identification only, due to DUI. And no, they weren't usually in the passenger seat. I always wondered how much I could blame them for still driving, because unless you have tons of money lying around for Ubers, what else are you supposed to do? Blaming them for the DUI, on the other hand...well, I _tried_ not to.
Heritage absolutely matters, not having anyone know that would be a major detriment to our understanding of inherited traits and medical issues. Not studying heritage would be devastating to modern medicine. People are often so short-sighted and careless about what should be obvious in this era.
Driving instructors here in America are very lenient usually in my experience and the experience of people I've known. As long as you don't do any major fuck-ups most people will pass you, and I've even heard of people getting in the test car and being asked if they wanna just go get fast food or something that's just across the street so they're gone a few minutes before they come back and they'll just pass them.
No no we don’t all buy from scalpers… if it’s for music tickets then who gives a shit. I’ll see them next time or alternatively I won’t and that’s entirely fine… I’ll entirely just do without.
“Actually I do have some gold bars in Singapore” is one of the most insane things Lewis has ever said
If you buy gold and it's not in your possession you are doing it wrong.

thanks to you, Terry flipped over-thanks
@@its_eis that was terry blessing the podcast lol

Lewis just casually dropping his gold bars stored in a vault in Singapore is one of the best moments of this podcast.

That hotel story is one of my favourite triforce moments of all time. Had me in stitches
I’m really glad we have another Mailbag episode!
I'm only halfway through but this has been a killer episode. Mailbag killed it and the lads were on fire.

Thanks, now every time just two of you are talking I'm picturing the third one just getting it on in the background.
A reminder that Sips, having probably now forgotten, once very accurately compared Ben's face to that of Cain Dingle from Emmerdale.
I like how Lewis mentions Ben having a generic average Joe face, he also said the same in that episode where pyrion told the story about him lining up at the cop station lol
*Thank you for your service Kaleb BIG UPS*
I've lived in Reading all me life and I've not once heard of someone called a wood louse a "Cheesy Log".
Bonkers.
Had to hear that intro "ha-bam" a few times one of your best yet
Aw man I was actually really looking forward to hearing what Lewis has to say about House of the Dragon but they just forgot about it
I imagine they'll talk about it in the regular podcast
Hahaha I thought sips was saying "oh shit" in regards to his teen break ups not Terry flipping over.
Omg laughing so much...Lewis's dorm experience.
On the subject of woodlice, I have a friend who calls them Uncle gravy/ies!

Did lewis mention he's breaking up with his partner? Man that's a shame
yeah hopes hes okay sounds like hes doing alright if hes comfortable enough talking about it on the podcast
Yessiiir my weekly triforce to assist in me landscaping
Thank you guys for the Big up
I feel like Lewis' friend from the BJ story should have been called Peter Blowinyuex
Advice about breakups on the day of my breakup......nice guys.....also, kinda creepy.
Uh oh Lewis said as someone who is experiencing something similar, when talking about the breakup! Hope he's ok

At work and this is the perfect thing to drop ✅✅✅✅✅✅

Worst thing about living here
im from the isle of man and would of known it as a granny-grunter or granny-bug. i had no idea it was localised to the island

That's clearly why they make an exception for the medical context.
The Real Ale Youth thinking he's special, probably a Falmouth student lol
WOOOOO!
play some pharao is great break up advice
I recognize the name atomicsnowglobe , I have seen that name in twitch chat often.
I lways call wood lice "pill bugs" but my friend calls them "rolie polies"
Oh, is that what they are? I've heard both pill bug and roly poly in Tennessee.
terry pulled a rofl
lol
Those are pill bugs
cool

Anything to keep the episode number down :/
I'm Tim, the jury foreman. Ask me anything
So lewis is single now😏
For gods sake don't play Pharaoh after a breakup, play Zeus: Master of Olympus instead.
