Age is also a big factor in relocating, I am talking about professional life. Someone hires with a company at 21 years of age and grows in ranks to be a director/president by age 42 . That same journey will be tougher if a 40 years old is relocating. He can still succeed professionally, however, most skills aren’t transferable due to several adaptability factors. I see a lot of senior professionals from Nigeria come and struggle in the abroad because of this stated reasons. That 21 year old is probably done with 2 or 3 mortgages at 45, whereas that 42 years old Nigerian is just starting a 25 years mortgage race ! The earlier you Japa the faster you blend and jump on the queue professionally or the learning curve for business.
😍😍😍 God bless you sir... Thanks for this message... about being a person of value before jakpaing.. honestly jakpaing is not a bad idea but it's the mindset that leads to it.
This is one thing people don't understand before they leave. You can live in the west, but most people don't get to keep that paycheck. This is a conversation I wish more people will encourage. The grass is not always greener. again, How the systems work is to make you work. Tie you to debt and once you are in debt, you can never leave.
It's funny cause the main reason I hesitate relocating from this country it's because of my future kids. I really don't think I can raise kids outside this country
Absolutely, adding value get to place you in the right profession but right now Entrepreneurship is the way forward now, being an employee can not get you the dream life
Thank you becuase this is the phase and decision i have been strugling with lately, Almost all my lead artist has left the country, you also know one of them, in person of Mr Gbenga Adenuga, he has also spoken to us on this same topic about us not being distracted by the Noise and hype of JAPA, but everyone there kept asking me to come and fix myself in one place or the other, but yet it hasnt really settled in me yet, i also have few contracts i'm geting here aside playing drums and producing music.. so i'd say thank you, because that PENETRATION is really the word! More grease
I went for a job interview somewhere in Nigeria and I was asked about my japa plan. Since this japa syndrome started it has also helped some of us get better jobs as others are leaving we are going to negotiate a higher salary and take their positions 😂😂… we still dey here
