This is proof that train simulation games like TS Classic can work with very long routes. I would love to see something like this as an official add-on
unfortunately they (DTG) have given up on TSC in my opinion. Yeah we get some dlcs now and then, but past content isn't looked after and a decent amount of the new stuff is 3rd Parties. some more QoL changes would be nice too

I started playing this a lot back in 2008 it was called Kuju TS and I spent many many hours extending NCY route from York to Doncaster in order to have a longer run (NC to Doncaster)... This brings me back to memories of building routes...
The newer merged routes make this trip a way smoother experience these days, I recorded a London to Glasgow trip via waverly with TS a few years ago and back then it took twice as many routes to make. The big problem back then was the difference and variable quality between the available routes. this makes me want to redownload TS and give it another spin ... Nice work

Good Question! I used the extra route for the newer station model at Edinburgh Waverley. As good as the Just Trains ECML North route is, it does have a older Edinburgh Station model. As I was doing a service based in 2023 I wanted the most up to date stations as I could!

Hi, I usually Don't make them all in one go but for this particular video 10+ Hours went in to making this 4+ hr scenario. I use real life services in the scenarios and put a lot of detail in so it takes a while :)
Hey, great video! Did you edit in the updated Waverley yourself in the world editor? I’m struggling to get it to work editing it in as the Just Trains one is all in separate pieces.
No I made no route edits, I edited two videos together. Although, if someone with more skill than me could update the Just Trains ECML North to have the newer station model that would be great!!
Not Sure, I've added the links to all the routes you'd have to work it out. A lot of the routes have their own route requirments so the costs quickly mount up.
Out of curiosity, did you have issues with assets missing in Peterborough? I've tried installing the London Kings Cross to Leeds and York Merge pack a couple of times and keep having issues with platforms and station building missing
I used to have tones of issues with missing scenery. Check you have your scenery density set to the max in your settings, then check if all the required assets are installed. For me, I had my scenery density turned down so there was bunch of missing stuff like you described. Hope this works for you 👍
Did you get this fixed?.If you go to your assets folder below assets folder you have content data devs further down is a folder installmerge within that folder is assets content manuals ATS_PBO_Mod batch file paste them into there folders and you will have missing footbridge at peterborough and more .
I have never played this game. I have played TSW 3 and 4 but never actual train simulator. I know in TSW you have the ability to leave the drivers cab, walk around the train and the station and even become a passenger, but does Train Simulator have that feature too or are you just locked in the driver's cab with the only version of exploring is with freecam?
Train Simulator Classic uses different camera views rather than being able to walk. So you are stuck in the cab, most trains have passenger view and theres of course the free exterior camera. I do have TSW myself, however I prefer train sim classic as I think the graphics look nicer (Proivided you buy graphics enhancers) and there is a greater variety of routes and rolling stock which allows for more realistic scenarios.
Nice video! Would be amazing if you could post this scenario, it looks incredible! There are close to no scenarios covering the full ecml northbound like this, I think tonnes of people would download/ purchase it.

Sadly none of the original water towers / troughs seem to be intact. Making a nonstop run in steam engine impossible.

It only takes me to London King’s Cross to Doncaster how to a fix this
That means u need the add one for , more routes , such as the fift circle route which unlocks Scotland
