I am absolutely new at sewing..I've made 3 - 2 of them the zippers are okay but not flat at one end or another because I'm not so great (all on me). My ends that I sew never seem to line up..but I'm gonna keep practicing..(I did manage to add a strap to my last one..I tried a little carry handle on the side of my other 2 but I did them wrong so their hidden behind the lining lol 😆).

I made another one tonight..this time I had a gap when I turned it inside out - the main fabric was separated from the side just below the zipper - even with the zipper foot I can't keep the sew straight..this one was better but not by much..hoping the janome I am waiting on will prove to be better equipped to handle thicker edges..(currently using a singer talent). just fyi for anyone else trying to make this..

Made this today and it's really nice. However, trying to topstitch around the top is just about impossible with the zipper. I ended up not doing it. Love the pattern though.
