Who would have thought Nat Audio SET's for $2500, Mikey you are the Master Deal Finder! Wow ✌
Master deal MAKER... I lost money on this to set up a tribe member with less means than I.
Warm & detailed sounding perfect system❤
Glad you like it!
Brilliant vid as usual, you pick some great music to play also, love fink 👌
Thanks !
Now all these music tracks sound very, very musical and beautiful. I don’t know what you changed, but this is a world class set up, now. Very engaging !!! 😊
Guess you like the sound of class A S.E.T. ;-) same speakers and DAC
Beautiful piece for a killer price!
Killed it!!
Looks great!
It does!
Both your audio room and rig setup are tight! You really cleaned up the look there. And those 570's are beautiful.
Thanks a bunch!
What a deal just beautiful what a great deal
Thx.
Man that sounds nice 👍
It did !
Sounds very good. Even through UA-cam in my headphones.
For real..
Very nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
Besides the gear, I always love your song selection. Would love to get a ocd mikey playlist
There is one.. Ill dig it up..
Fantastic deal!!! Mikey rules!!
Thanks Rich !
Great deal. Cant wait to come across a deal like this. I got my 2500 bucks saved and waiting.
I've got some integrateds for 2500
@@OCDHIFiGuyMikey, how can I see them? All I see is an Integrated amp for 9,500 on your site
“Yes,as I spoke to you before some period that unit should be
replaced with new one or to recycle!
To repeat - due to lack of specific material it is imposible to
repair it!
All the best,
Dejan - NAT”
This was the last mail from him , after that I had two calls … better
no repeating what he said
…this thing sounds great , when it works, but if not ….
This Guy No Way
And that’s the only reason why I wrote this , It is not style too … this is how I understand you and one of the reasons I like what you do.
Cheers from Germany
I know that at one point there was a change of engineer and the designs changed. My personal feeling is that the earlier designs were OVERengineered. Far too ambitious to simply play music in my opinion. The new designs have taken a different approach and are simpler and more robust. No more complex logic chips, etc., shipped in flight cases, etc..
Thats why this $8K amp went to my repair guy and was fully tested and calibrated then it was sold for $2500.. I gave $3500 trade in for it and paid $500 for the tune, so its a very worth it purchase. The buyer has already called me to tell me how great the amp is. Now if there is a problem and he cant fix it , its the dealers job to make it good for him, NOT the manufacturer. So as the seller, I make sure the buyer does not get shit out of luck.. I would then offer him something else. Clearly you had no reputable dealer that you bought your NAT from, or that guy would be offering you something else.. Thanks for watching !
Dream amp
Great bargain..
Fischer & Fischer 🤩🥰
For sure !
I’d buy this right now this second at that price.
I already got 3 phone calls saying the same. I'll exhibit something else, brand new with warranty for the same price... keep your eyes out..
Have had this one ! Great , but it produces shorts when using volume control. Asking NAT CEO for Repair - he said , no repair and recommended throwing it in thrash... 8 years old amplifier
I bring it back to the seller - NAT - good sound but for me
Never Again Thrash
Now a Rike Audio Romy 20Se plays - not that power but more of everything else ;-)
I know the CEO. He is the founder. There is NO WAY he said throw it out. That is a LIE. He is VERY GOOD about helping us with any repairs.. I've been selling them for 5 years. Only had one preamp with shorts from the old design. Dejan sent a brand new updated volume control board and we replaced it. No more problems...
…no Lie , to me he said there are no more parts for the board , and he called his own product junk - to me he was only for the money …
But so what, now i have an better Amp , better quality and reliable people with passion for music and their customers and not only$$$…
Never again NAT for me
Brother that sounds Great that's a beautiful amplifier I'll try to call you next week I'm definitely part of the tribe brother! If you have another amplifier like that and that price range please get in touch with me brother
You'll need to call me. I've got 3 new solid state class A/B integrateds for $2250 each and NOT made in China.
@@OCDHIFiGuy when is a good time to call ?
I owned this amp following Mikey’s videos - it’s a stunner, you’ll find is almost impossible (is impossible) to be beat for the price. Only reason I moved it on was the 50kg weight, for practically I did need to move to monoblocks / smaller
you make exercises with your gear ? i place it into my cabinet and let it alone for years.
@@MrBazsi888 depends how big your space is and if you’re always moving gear around (FOMO) 😝
Your stereo game has been STRONG as of late brah.
You can put Jay, who is on an angry audio journey, and Jon Delorean with his filthy monkey crates TOGETHER and they don't match your Audio Acumen and GEAR 🤜🏻🐑🤛🏻
Great job Mikey!
Thx.. preesh..
Nat seems to be a very good match for this speaker brand. There are many UA-cam videos with this pairing and they are all good.
It's true !!
These big NAT tube amps still are so cool, I´m still not over them even with the Rowland 625. Space, heat, cables, light (under homecinema screen) all speak against buying them too
They make little sense.... that's thier biggest draw... ;-)
@@OCDHIFiGuy Sense in a way of "practical"? Or in my Situation?
dam nice
Thx
Sounds like some humming showed up after the standby period was over. Did it come from the speakers or the power transformer?
Dead nuts silent. You heard a heavy duty relay switching.

Yessir
What do you use to record the songs? I have these songs on my playlist 😊
Samsung Galaxy s24 Ultra
Mikey just a question, this amp vs Agd class D?
2 different things. No class D can do what a SET does in terms of ethereal flotation. Class D is lower distortion and far better efficiency.
Sounds awesome, just need to save 50k for the rest of the system 😢
Or not.
I would agree with the comment zero coloration. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t sound awesome. Killer sound
Thx !
Not that it doesn't sound great but zero box coloration (the closest today) is the Rockport Lyra ( or my diy one, perhaps even more). No single cell loudspeaker is free from vibration.
Thanks for your opinion. Rockport uses sheets of mdf sandwich material with viscoelastic (goop) in the middle then spray paints the box. 100% synthetic materials. Fischer&Fischer uses sheets of natural Slate. 100% natural material.
When making love to a sex robot rather than a natural woman, the physical orgasm is the same. Some people prefer organic build structure. I am one of them.
@@OCDHIFiGuy the lyra is double, cast-aluminum cabinet with special viscoelastic inbetween. The concept works very well also with mdf. You heard it. Single slate almost catches up with double mdf because of greater mass and a little better innate "damping" compared to granite and marble, for instance. With double cabinets, we just change league. Of course, single can get close or even surpass a poor or cheap double built. Exception are speaker builts which are neither single, nor double cabinet. One of them is the "no cabinet", planars. Nothing can beat "no cabinet" in its working range and in the proper room. All other designs are there to address planar or dipole disadvantages, while maintaining their lack of cabinet colorations. Fischer x2, are great, uncolored loudspeakers, no question, I almost said that. Looks aside, perhaps they're even better than Acoras and at a much lower price. They're not better than Rockport Lyras, imho. ( As for "natural vs artificial" look at the cones, this is what you hear, the slate is of negligible acoustic presence. I disagree with this approach, of course, even though I listen to paper, instead of plastic).
Please is this price one off or you can supply them at that price?
One off man... lol. I've got 3 solid state Integrateds sealed in the box, just contact me.
Mikey I hear conflicting philosophies that it is the speakers you should spend the majority of your money on first then the poweramp and other people say the opposite what do you say?
My ratio is 33% speakers, 33% DAC, 20% Amp, rest on streamer and cables. This ratio can change depending on overall budget.. far more important than how much money is the quality of what you are buying. Spend a lot on the wrong speaker and you will yield bupkis
Killer system,my kind of sound,is that a 805 tube?Okay yes 805...
Yessir
You have no idea how good $25K speakers and DAC with a $2500 amp sounds on a 20 year old Cambridge 4.1 PC speaker system!
then go to JAL his wife waiting
Mikey you got one more at that price?
No. I have other things though
First track sounds wild, shit man 🤜🏼. What is that one?
Fink "trouble that you're in"
God, you know your stuff... its a killer! I want to empty my bank account!
If $2500 empties your bank account, you are forbidden from spending on HiFi whatsoever... I wont sell to you...
Sounds like solid state, doesn't have the tube flavor
Its supposed to sound like music, not tubes. I have a tube preamp, it makes things sound more natural and better, but I thats it.
@@kristofvadnai7468 so why tube? I can have more power and don't need to replace tubes, I can just do tube preamp on the input stage with ss and cost fraction of the money
Correct. Not fat and fuzzy if that's what you mean. So sounds like SS in terms of cleanness but has insane sustain and imaging characteristics. Best of both worlds.
@@OCDHIFiGuy don't you feel that defeats the purpose of tube amp?
What's the signal chain you are listening to this through?
Sounds flat, no air!
Lol. You need to change your playback device. There's borderline too much air in this recording.
👍
