Good idea. I did this, but I had to use #8 screws. The #6s just slipped right out of the material. Probably depends on the brand of material. I got some cheap stuff at the big box store that is intended for yard signs. But it will work fine for my application. BTW, if you aren't sure of the dimensions or just want to practice, use regular cardboard. I did that and it worked out great. :-)
It's a dangerous cut. I suggest you use a safety ruler or safety cutter.I have seen a special CUTTER for cutting HOLLOW plates, PP HOLLOW BOARD CUTTER NC03 from signmate.
It got awkward when 3 different tradies on my site all had the same idea to paint their tools pink, all used the same standards shade, and all assumed they were the only ones. 3 guys who still couldn't tell if that was their hammer or not.
I have several free-standing storage units which I would like to reuse! I would like to make shelves and drawers out of the Corplast but arn concerned about how much weight it can handle if placed as shelf on metal framework?

I use duct tape that is a blue plaid on my tools ! ;)

Had to go back and listen again to get the suggested length of the screws. She said 1" (#6) and they look to be flat head.
