When I use UA-cam subtitles it seems to translate well, so if you are in a rush then it’s okay can see use. But when you write your own subtitles I think they have more character and charm. Either way is good 👍🏻
Subtitle set up doesn't matter to me, just happy there's English subtitles in the first place! Also I know a lot of people tend to cheap out on tripods, probably a good idea to get one that can support the weight of the camera. One of those times to get an on-brand one probably from Sony.

Another great vlog! I personally like the subtitles on the video because you get to pick your font (UA-cam has such an ugly one, lolol) but I totally get that it can look messy, especially if you translate the YT ones into different languages. The overlapping probably would drive some people nuts!
Be careful with the parchment paper. In my experience, you shouldn't use it in an oven over 375°F (190°C) or it will scorch. Also, ketchup burns due to the sugar content in it. Lastly, as long as English subtitles are somewhere, that's fine.
