Vivo is awfully oversaturated, only night shots looks good this way. Pixel has the most natural colouring, it won to me. IPhone is doing too much HDR and crushing for my taste. I liked s22U photos overall, almost as good as Pixel.
I've been using iPhone for 4 years, before going back to android couple of years ago. Now I ordered Vivo X80 Pro, and I think I didn't make a mistake. I noticed that you took each frame individually at 01.32 minutes, I think all devices should be triggered at the same time to get the same result. It will give more accurate results if the photos are triggered at the same time with a button connected to Bluetooth. Values such as Frame, ISO, Shutter Speed, Aperture will change as the devices play. How accurate the photo results are is discussed. But congratulations on your success and the time you spent on this test. It's a good comparison video.

Hey Brandon! Been watching you videos for the past few years off and on. I just noticed you were filming in Downton Fullerton! We live near you! Small world!
Is it me or the vivo photos looked kind of a little too saturated while p6p and iphone photos looked generally washed out? Don't knw what to think about the iphone but... that phone is overrated !!! The S22 was the most balanced of all in general. Vivo nailed everything concerning night in this video. ( i own an iphone13 pro max and would be switching to s22 ultra by the end of the month)
For the saturation on vivo they have a zeiss color mode which reduces saturation to make it realistic. You can make s22 night photos by editing them with expert raw. My only problem with iPhone photos is that they don’t try hard enough. For instance the night mode, it barley does anything in comparison to the vivo ( it’s a night and day difference, pun intended).
I wonder if all those phones can use the wire earbuds volume button as a camera shutter. (To take the photos at the same second, to see the difference in focus, auto brightness and blurriness)
Google should let us use the zoom lens when recording FHD 30 and 60 FPS, and 4K 60 FPS. I don't understand why we can only use it when recording in 4K 30 FPS.
The pixel 2 had the best camera out there for several years after it released. It only got beat out by the iPhone 11 pro. Too bad Google's phones were just lackluster after the 2.
I love this type of camera comparison, but did you really clean the pixel lens with your shirt? I do not get that level of lens flares on mine in lowlight.
That is a good comparison but I would like to see what really counts : photo of people, moving subjects, pets... Personally I don't care about shots of leaves or trees..

The second shot was taken when they were all laying on a table, so it's pretty clear that the iPhone got closer, so...
Every video shows the iPhone has better macro. Not sure why you think that. If on another subject the S22U could get closer, then the iPhone would also get closer. The iPhone has a better macro take for sure, but hopefully Samsung knows this and will improve next year.
@@andyH_England sure the iphone 13 pro can get closer but details, color and sharpness were just superior in the s22 ultra shot in my test.
@@andyH_England that telephotos acts as the macro lens and i had able to go so close to subjects.
I own Vivo x70 pro and for me it's far better than i phone
What program do you use to post videos like that?
I would like to stop being poor so I can have one of those and take pictures with my grandmother who soon I won't be able to see her in the eye
Greetings from Perú
Vivo X80 Pro is a BEAST, Period.
Got the Vivo just few days ago ..and one crazy mode is the cinema one. Really anzed by it. Had previously a mare 20 who definitively was outdated! But on picture color ,pixel 6 is really amazing .have to admit it ! My wife has one so easy benchmark
I'm from Philippines, I'm a fan of yours, i love watching your videos that I can't afford to buy with..😊 hoping to have that someday.
Was the vivo with zeiss natural tone on?
I found that it's one of the best things vivo x series have had and tones down the colors to a beautiful level
May I ask what IEM or TWS do you use?
Any issues with notifications on the vivo?
Not that I'm aware of. Is there an issue that you're hearing of with them?
Hey Mate!
What about battery life, the second most importat smartfon aspect.
One Day or More??- vivo x80 pro
I don't make even one day with my X80Pro lol but I use it all the time and I use the Chinese version.
Please were can I find this tripod you use on this video.
It's in the description.
Pixel = Daylight Shots
Vivo = Night shots
iPhone = Video
Samsung = 2nd to everything
That's a good breakdown.
I would add Samsung for telephoto
Hi there. I have a 12 Pro Max and I might go for the Vivo X80 Pro. Will I have better battery or it will drain faster? Thanks a lot!
Would you consider reviewing the Moto Edge Plus (2022)?
No guarantees, but there's a higher likelihood if they send it to me.
@@ThisIsTechToday - I hope so, in considering jumping to it and downloading a GCam APK to replace the main camera app. It looks really good on paper.
Yeah, that sounds like a pain in the butt. I make videos that I enjoy making. That sounds miserable and it doesn't matter enough for anyone to do it. I'm not trying to make a Ph.D comparison. I'm trying to have fun, lol
Casetify seems to really market to and design their cases for Asians which many (including some non-Asians) might really like! Wanted to like their designs, but wasn't able to find anything. Definitely worth checking-out though, they seem to be good quality
Love all your hard work Brandon!💪You can't go wrong with any high end phone now days. Looking forward to have a phone that has the ability to fly me across the world. Here before multi-million subs🙂👍
haha, thank you
@@ThisIsTechToday Always welcome ✨
Hey Brandon! Been watching you videos for the past few years off and on. I just noticed you were filming in Downton Fullerton! We live near you! Small world!
Great video But I feel the overall pace of video was bit high. Hard to follow I had to pause the video to process the video.
exactly 💯
Exactly, lol. You can always pause. UA-cam is rough. I can't just have it sit there for 15 seconds each shot. People click off.
@@Artemis-v8i You have great understanding of these devices, unlike me who's just a consumer with basic or layman judgment
It's have been 23 day
I'm using my S22 Ultra 🥰🥰
I wonder if all those phones can use the wire earbuds volume button as a camera shutter. (To take the photos at the same second, to see the difference in focus, auto brightness and blurriness)
Google should let us use the zoom lens when recording FHD 30 and 60 FPS, and 4K 60 FPS. I don't understand why we can only use it when recording in 4K 30 FPS.
I just want a telephoto that enables right away instead of struggles and lags.
I am unable to understand what are you going to say...I think you are in hurry to catch a flight ✈️... hahaha 😂
I have no idea what you're talking about
Holly new thing! I really never expected that I could like more that new "Vivo" phone than those other very good brands!
The pixel 2 had the best camera out there for several years after it released.
It only got beat out by the iPhone 11 pro.
Too bad Google's phones were just lackluster after the 2.
I had the 2xl. Brilliant. Still
I love this type of camera comparison, but did you really clean the pixel lens with your shirt? I do not get that level of lens flares on mine in lowlight.
Sometimes you gotta use what you have with you when you're not in a convenient studio but out and about on a city street...
That is a good comparison but I would like to see what really counts : photo of people, moving subjects, pets... Personally I don't care about shots of leaves or trees..
Wish I had more friends that want to be on camera lmao
Please please please can you tell me if the vivo has good wide angle night video . Everyone talks about the main camera i need a wide angle . Thank you and great vid 🥳
Great test. A bit fast on the conclusions touch ;) What about video portrait?
Why didn't you use zeiss natural colors on Vivo? I think the comparison wasn't done properly.
No other phone has that feature, so that wouldn’t be fair to the other phones.
@@Artemis-v8i Agreed. However, other phones were finely tuned in terms of colors to begin with. Just wanted to see how it will stack up though.
vivo x80 pro will kill every phone in the market and for years to come no can beat the Vivo x80 pro.
I'm really looking forward to the performance of the Google Pixel 7 series and Vivo X90 series😋
X80 pro plus is coming in July same as Pixel 7 and Xiaomi 12 ultra
@@Thinhkk0 Yes.. I just saw the previous article, I think it will be like before, where Vivo releases its smartphone series 2 times a year
Hey what would be best vivo x80 for 43k price or Samsung s21 for 55k which would be better for camera ?
I have no idea what those numbers mean. I can't answer that for you.
@@ThisIsTechToday
43k refers to 550 dollars
55k refers to 700 dollars
@@venkatanagasasidharjaldu5282 where do you get that prices? in my country x80 is 800$ :/ and s21 ultra is stil labout 1100$ still about the same price as s22 ultra :/
You mean S21 Ultra or just S21?
Pixel fan here.
If I would have to choose, I would go for Vivo just because of the night 🌃 performance
I really like how dynamic the vivo camera is, but the white balance isn't the greatest 😬
Yeah, the low light is no joke
Budget and value for money vivo x80 pro best
I think you might have had some smudges on the pixel camera at night
Would be cool to see how pixel 6 pro camera photos are compared to pixel 4 XL or pixel 5. More blurry or bettet, details in the pictures etc. To see IF the tensor is a downgrade or upgrade....
May come into play if I can pull off this big series I'm working on. If not this year, next year.
What's the material of the squarish camera of Vivo X80 Pro?
That's a good question. I can't tell if it's glass or polished metal tbh. I think it's glass. That would be cheaper to make, so that seems logical.
Which one you prefer and advice to buy
I can't answer that. It depends.
I will choose the vivo waiting for the vivo x80 pro plus
Watching a camera comparison with the video quality at 360p lol my life
lol
I though Iphone is the god of video camera by watching all of the reviewer utube vids, now I know it just like other flagship phone LOL
vivo wins in many occasions.
And it lets you easily choose between popping social media colors and Zeiss natural colors.
I just want to know what phone you buy if u love being on social media and taking pictures and making everything thing fast and smooth?
Social Media platforms optimize for iPhone, for better or worse.
@@ThisIsTechToday trust me I'd use it for the great and good
When you get your hands on 12s ultra make a video on s22 ultra vs 12s ultra? Would be crazy entertaining!
I have no idea what phone you're talking about.
@@ThisIsTechToday I mean xiaomi 12s ultra. That 1" sensor phone.
Loved the review but I feel Brandon needs to pause more between sentences....if I spoke that fast I would pass out 😂
your samples was preview so quick. not enough time for me to compare each other pictures.
please give us more time to watch and compare the picture.
thanks
Easy fix, pause the video 😊
Always loved your videos! Thx. While I'm watching this video I really wanted to clean up the lens of the Pixel6Pro (especially during the night scenes) w/ alcohol swab+proper cloth since I think it could be better than that. Keep up the good work! 🙌🙌🙌
Thanks! Yeah, maybe that would have helped more. It's weird, it doesn't look like that at all in the daytime.
I'd love to see a video from you if you could get your hands on the new Xperia I iv
I'll see if I can get my hands on it.
I second this statement
For natural colours pixel
For overall usability iPhone
For extreme everything s22 ultra and vivo
Do you think momentum 4 would beat xm5 ?
I literally know as little as you do about it. No way to answer that lol
@@ThisIsTechToday I have a prediction : the sound quality would be better, the battery life is definitely better, it would be larger than xm5 but it’s ANC wouldn’t be as good. So it would be a choice between better headphones vs better travel headphones.
@@eshaansharma280 The Momentum 3's definitely beat the XM5's for sound quality...🤣
