They can be if gravity is pulling them back, or if all the hair is gathered too tightly into the band. I've been trying to make sure that mine sits on top of my head so that gravity isn't pulling the hair back

Since I was young playing in sports and just being around all women of different nationalities for those who have long hair we just put our hair in a bun (straight, dreads, braids)when I look at the men's hair and I really see no difference . But thank you I will address it different.

As so the web dictionary and goggle...But now I can give compliments to males by addressing them ,they have a nice man bun.......

Haha the weather really has an influence on my hairstyles too. Plus I like to try to get the bun to be center on the top of my scalp
