So I managed to share this video on social media etc. about a month ago but never made it live on here, so, after much delay here it is.
Interesting details there I wasn't aware of Simon. Do the trousers you demonstrated have a waist cord to tie off at the front or just a button?
The waist cord was on the junglies. As these trousers are DPM "lightweights". They still have the metal adjusters. Apart from being DPM, these trousers are identical to the olive garrison wear type of the 70s and 80s..
First pattern camo size… single stitching on the seems …..No third colour or zips.. The Iraqs had them… nice item for the collection.
I thought the pockets on lightweights were phased out in the nineties
Correct. The thigh pocket went the way of the Dodo in the 90s. the 70s and 80s olive "lightweights" had the pocket.
