Such a pretty pj set! I found Karina’s video about sewing with silky fabric very helpful. It takes time and effort, but the results are worth it.

Thank you! 😊 It's from Surge Fabric shop and it was really inexpensive! surgefabricshop.com/collections/labor-day-sale-22/products/light-pink-satin-washed

I was also thinking of making a PJ set with the Band Camp top - but with flannel. You upped the game!

By the way, do you have any updated information, for the interfacing. I have purchased from them for years, but they do not answer the phone or their contact us button.I ordered 5 weeks ago, but no order has arrived.

Another commenter mentioned that the owner recently lost her husband, and that will affect fulfillment. 💔😥 ~J

Just a note - The owner of Fashion Sewing supply recently lost her husband. The homepage says orders will start shipping after July 19th; however, I placed an order on August 8th and it has not yet shipped. I’ve read others are having the same experience. Not receiving replies via email/website. I can only imagine the grief she must be experiencing. Just wanted to let folks know that they will likely not receive orders any time soon. I will keep my order in as I want to support the business should she decide to continue.

Looks too pretty to not wear out! Wondering if you considered doing a gelatin bath first before cutting and if so, why you decided against it?

Great idea!! I totally did think of that during but I was too spur of the moment with this make and didn't think ahead. Katie Kennedy did a great blog post about it though: www.lovenotions.com/you-can-stabilize-woven-fabric-with-gelatin-5-easy-steps-ballad-blouse

I remember reading that and was wondering if this would be a good solution because (so far) the only project I completely gave up on was a silky satin that was just too shifty😢

Would it not have been helpful, if you haven’t sewn
with slinky fabric before, to do a trial in cheaper, slippery fabric?

Absolutely, if you have access to it. Sometimes different slinky fabrics behave differently, but you could definitely practice on scraps first! ~J
