- It's definitely the largest planet ever discovered! NASA researchers have just announced that this planet is actually "impossible", but it really exists. B Centauri b is real and it is beyond anything we thought possible in astronomy. With the discovery of this giant, we are once again faced with the big question of what is really possible in this universe. It seems as if the universe is constantly confronting us with extreme discoveries, new superlatives and unsolvable puzzles. B Centauri b not only blows up everything that has gone before in terms of size. This incredible planet also orbits two of the craziest and deadliest stars in the known universe.
I love how they say “the largest planet in the universe…” as if they know.
Are you the same kind of guy who always posts "nothing is free" whenever anyone talks about "free healthcare?" Because that's the level of pedantic assholery that your comment gives off. Like no shit we haven't seen every single planet in the universe. Absolute shock. There's always an implicit "that we've seen" when talking about the biggest/smallest/brightest thing.
Jesus Christ.
I was thinking the same. We also have no observed around 75% of the visible sky.. so this statement is false. Largest planet discovered till date, sure, but we shouldn't say largest in the universe. That feels like a clickbait.
The more and more technology gets better the more they discover so you're right they need to stop saying the largest planet in the universe more like one of the largest planet
They simply mean. The largest we have found.
They did say "ever discovered though."
Due to how slow light travels in the scale of the universe, there's a lot we won't see in our lifetimes.
Exceptional clarity and detail you say?
Prove it
There are images in the video itself. "Exceptional clarity" may mean something very different to scientists than the average Joe, however, so do remember that your expectations may not align with actual scientific data.
You can count the pixels on the planet. 🤣
its the largest planet in the universe until we find the next one!.
Exciting, isn't it!?
Nice video 🎉
The added visual noise added to many video clips is really distracting and annoying.
Wow, the universe never ceases to amaze! I wonder what other celestial secrets are waiting to be unveiled. 🌌✨"
Amazing information about the extreme weather different planets around their Stars I think I take my chances going to the super Saturn 🪐🪐🪐
🤔them not the real names of these planets,,,, humans made them names up,,,,unless 👽's told them that was the names,,i wanna know what the aliens call planet earth and other planets 🤔
I get it, but you're not saying anything. We know that's not their real "names", but just what we humans have designated them at the time. Hell, even Earth's name isn't "Earth". It's just what us humans are calling it right now. If we die out, another species will not be calling it Earth when it is discovered.
It's Human Tendency to name everything
If the were based on the dominant species, I'll bet you almost anything that the aliens call the Earth "unworthy sh...t" or just "our next target"
How do planets form into neat round circular formations?
When an object is large enough to generate it's own gravity, all it's material is pulled towards its center, thus, forming a sphere.
The radius of beta Centairi b is only 11% bigger than that of Jupiter. It's mass is about 10 Jupiter masses. It is not unusually big. It is an object on the border between a heavy Jupiter and a light brown dwarf. There are many more objects like it.
How do we know it is the largest planet in the universe ?.
Whoopde do. And now what? I refuse to help you pack up to move. You have a better following than me. I'm just waiting until that day.
The largest planet in the universe is in our puny, measly galaxy which is only one of trillions of other galaxies, and many of them are so far away that we will never ever see. Thats arrogance.
Can you please speak normally and quit the phoney voice and strange speaking cadence.
Nice enjoyed the video I find that very interesting cuz my latest theory is that heaven could be a planet
It's not. More of an asteroid belt to maintain personal privacy.
