Salam sheikh I've been making the mistake of standing under the shower while intending for ghusl... i was ignorant, is seeking repentance enough for Allah swt to overlook my unintentional mistake? Or do I have to make up all the prayers i did after a wrong ghusl? I've lost count of how many times I've had to do ghusl

Also some people do the ghusl sitting (no shower). Where there is a chance of missing area hidden by skin. What is the ruling for this.
Good answer sheikh I've come to notice that these are the mistakes on the sunnah way of making ghusl which that the prophet Muhammad salaAllahu alejhi we selem did and it's not obligatory. To complete the ghusl without doing it with sunnah ways you just put the water in your mouth and nose and wash all your body. This form is obligatory and accepted insha'Allah. And Allah knows best!

The main accomplishment of Ghusl should be to clean your body from known impurities the best you can and anything unknown would be accomplished with the intention itself, with Gods help and blessings inshallah though you won’t be able to see - the idea or principle here is that when you put effort and do the due diligence then God will help you! For lot of people, especially for women: Regarding any barrier like any coating on your nails or hair as a result of coloring or paint is alright as long as they are clean and you had ghusl and were clean when applied (as long as the application is not on the skin or perspirational part of the body as it will grow bacteria/skin-cancer overtime) is alright, I believe. That said, there can be exceptions like for medical reasons.

When it says "wash" does it mean scrubbing with soap and water or does just water suffice for the purposes of ghusl? This is the only thing I've been wondering about and can't seem to find a clear answer.
SA, Only Water. Remember that when we have to do Ghusl or make anything pure then we require only clean pure water. Soap is used to clean germs which is different from making things pure in Islam. In fact water mixed with soap or detergent will not make body, things or clothes pure. ( if impurity is not getting removed or separated by normal water then may be you can use soap/detergent/chemical to remove it but then again you have wash with pure water to make it pure ) Wash in ghusl means water should reach the skin, scrubbing is not required if impurity is not left, but you should normally use your hands to gently rub those areas ( which water doesn't reach normally via pouring ) to be sure that water reaches there.

Brother . I did ghusl in a bath . In the ghusl I had a drop of urine and did ghusl . In the bath water was running . Is it not valid and do I have to do again
As I understand from everything I know and have read you should do niyyah before starting the ghusl and it is of course "said" inside of you, you don't have to actually say the words with a loud voice. And then as I have read after the niyyah you say bismillah and then follow with the next step. And Allah knows best.

I thought you only needed to state your intentions before doing ghusl
Yes in your heart that niyya should exist. Sh. M. Al-Hilli
Can we use soap during ghusl?
Yes before ghusl. M. Al-Hilli
Salaam brother i wanted to find out, after washing my head, should i wash my face 3 times?
Then ears 3 times?
Then shoulders 3 times
Then my chest 3 times
Then my legs 3 times
(On my right side)
Then move over to the left?
And commence in the same way?
And also when should i wash my back?
Salaam. No need for 3 times in ghusl. M. Al-Hilli
