Once you have enough for a deposit, go buy a house with fixed interest rate mortgage. Right now debt is cheap, but it won’t be soon enough as govts raise interest rates.
The strategy has always been the same tbh, just now the amount we need to earn to have enough disposable income to purchase a home is becoming unattainable.
It’s a sad time for our generation. The possibility of working your entire life and at the end of it not to be in your own paid for home is becoming more of a reality.

Yep depending on which states. Texas is pretty cheap. A 2,000 square feet home in texas ranges from 180k - 280k depending on the conditions and area code but the same square feet size would cost easily over 1million in California 🤦🏾
