You know the battle is really something else if QB describes it not as a mammoth game but as a gargantuan one.
I remember years back when you made a video about a guy getting 14 kills in his british medium tank. Never thought I would see another 14 kill game in tier 10 no less...
8 is my best, only dream of 10. Cannot imagine a 14, its out of reach.

QB features a tank , and i instantly want to grind it 😂 the problem is i play once or twice in a week , sometimes once in a month
tier 7 is decent
tier 8 is a hot garbage
tier 9 is fun
tier 10 is OP as f*ck

how can you even enjoy this game when you play it so little while the game requires a lot of playing and grinding to buy just 1 tank
it must take you like 2 months just to unluck and fully upgrade 1 tank, whats the point of even playing at that point

I noticed I initiated quite a shitstorm here, so I will share my thought aswell.
I have nothing against premium ammunition personally, until it's being used with brain, it's just annoying playing against guy loading only gold shells.
Although I understand gold spam when someone trynna mark a tank, that's a fair explanation for me.
There are tanks which don't require gold abuse (best example is leopard 1, on which I go 25/25/10 ammo setup, strv, which has insane penetration on standard shells, also grille has great standard pen, and furthermore heats are just useless due to their velocity, and also the pen itself isn't worth it whatsoever), but there are also tanks that just force you to play full gold, or at least in majority of situations you will be forced to use it, as standard shell just doesn't wanna go through (IS7, VZ55, E100, M4 54, T5H), i understand guy's choice - he just hit his 3rd moe, what means he wants to be as effective as possible, i would personally do the same. Maybe he didn't even have alternative shell setup (what is reasonable, I don't use alt configs whatsoever). And remember about nowadays hulldown meta, chiefs, and other tanks which have impenetrable turrets and force you to use gold to penetrate their well angled, microscopic cupolas.
There are also tanks, which are basicslly designed to go full premium (JGPZ E100, two deathstars, Cobra etc.). If I had jgpz I would go full gold no matter what, 420pen is just something you can't miss on, and it's just fun to sometimes mess around.
Also people were arguing about premium ammo being p2w, and their argument is that money is hard to make and you need to buy a premium tank anyway. That's a big nono for me.
World of tanks isn't p2w. You don't need to spend irl money on tanks - just wait till another marathon, grind up some tier 6-8 tanks and grind the shit out of that one week in your life. Congratulations! you just got yourself a free tank which earns better!
Only the premium account is kind of p2w, but wg pretty often gives people a day or some for free, but still, in order to have premium acc all the time you will have to pay anyway, it's just how it is. There are also events like Frontline, which give you opportunity to make massive amounts of credits.
That's my pov, kinda Deep-not deep analysis of gold ammo and things related to it. Think whatever you want, and feel free to share your opinion.
Nah, the perfect battle would have been without full gold spam and premium consumables.

I don't think it was that bad of a play at the end... he could have survived 3 shells from the Somua, which takes 7.5s, meanwhile he needed only 2s to take down the Somua, if he was trying to play hulldown on the Somua and missed/bounced the cupola then the Somua would have the chance to rush him out and kill him... the end was imo a really good play
And if he low rolled he had the speed to ram kill.

Auto aim is superior in situation like this, because it centers your crosshair at the dead center of a target. This results in RNG having less chance to miss completely. It is actually a superior method in engaging long range targets which are not moving.

why do you keep undervaluing yourself? :( I absolutely love your commentaries, I don't even play anymore, but still love to watch your videos almost daily, like a series. Yes same I still play but Im really bad sometimes win 1/15 matches and very few survived but QB videos keep me interested

This is why the player base is shrinking. Didn't bother with a single round of standard, just spawned in with full gold, in this tank, to play against tier 8s that can't do jack against him. GJ WOTs.

Imagine if the last 2 enemy tanks we petty, and just jumped off the cliff so that Alek couldn't get the 14 kills for the medal. I was actually scared when the Samoa was unspotted after the arty was killed, I thought they decided to go for a swim.
Um...there are 4 marks on his barrel at the end close-up...would that be his 5th mark, or do they always paint extra marks on barrels to instill fear in opponents?
I just got the Vz 55 a month or two ago and I knew it was stout but I didn't know it was as good as it is, I've had the Skoda T-56 for a while and so have a really good crew, my commander is on the last available skill, so that helps a little bit but the Vz is nasty, but you have to hide your hull behind something if you can, I mean you can take a shot or two but it's turret is good, anyway, it's a damn good tank

In autoloaders you kinda have to commit to either full standard or full gold.
Mate, I'm waiting for a replay from you doing the same thing with the same ammo loadout. Even more impressive if you'll do it firing only standard ammo.
@@justmgm i never said i could do it better, I’m just saying that gold ammo takes away from the skill requirement - and this is not news. I’ve played wot for 10 years, not gonna grind games to prove a point, thanks :)
@@tudi the only reason he even loaded almost full gold was the 3 moe cap on that tank, which he was clearly going for. Even so, it's not the gold ammo that aided his game, as you could see bounces on a few occasions. He aimed his shots at weak spots, kept an eye on the minimap, reacted to enemy movement, realized when enemies were on their own and capitalized on the opportunity, used cover to lure tanks into crossfires... He could've done all he did with standard ammo aswell, but the gold indeed gave him that extra confidence, not skill.
He is a very aware and skilled player, the choice of ammo didn't really influence the result.

This was quite possibly the easiest Raseiniai Hero's medal I think I've ever seen. Full premium loadout, idiot enemies (and even worse teammates), good map. Absolutely disgusting. This kind of result wouldn't have been possible 3-4 years ago. GG
the most kills ive gotten was only 9, in the tier 2 Pz 38H 735, waaaaay back when it dominated low tiers.

Notice these days that tier X always has these total team collapses on flanks. If this guy didn't get those kills, the enemy would have absolutely sweeped. So common these days in tier X

I saw this replay already have the same set up on my vz 55 i always watch out for Damage videos for vz 55 to get better . I have had 8k damage with 4 kills in random battle but never recorded it and i have one game in a clan wars recorded 7126 damage and 6 kills vs vet clan wars players .
