IOU looks like a fun little utility. Seems to works a lot like Acid Rain’s navigator which you can patch in different ways to get the “pre/post” behavior you've shown here. I find this type of manual control to be really useful.
Some say you can't have too many VCAs in a modular. I would argue you can not have enough utilities that have attenuation and offsets in a simple playable package. I wish more lfos had this combination built in.
I'm always torn between adding all of that too modules, either as output controls or input controls and then having to do it externally. Tricky balance and you'll never please everyone.
@@DivKid I also think that balance shifts internally for each person sometimes daily. Is my rig focused enough to be inspiring? That being said one of my dream modules is a set of 8 offsets/attenuator combos in a thoughtful package that pairs with Ochd.
Love over-driving the Feedback PRE CR / PRE BX / 106 Chorus - which does that subtle mono in - saturated faux stereo out that you highlighted, cheers. Also Veils ch1 30% no-linear > Veils ch2 20-25% no-linear > WMD Pingable filter > Veils ch3 40-50% no-linear > Veils ch4 linear to VCA the beast. Spend a bit of time getting the levels just so, then get cycled Maths - Sum out on cutoff duty... Oh the interplay! Can swap the %s of Veils ch2 & 3 around and put the Pingable between ch1 & 2 also. Whoarh!! Gurn time...
Cheers! Appreciate that, I think it was the first time I've made an LPG a ducking device, specifically at least. I've enjoyed all sorts of compressors style shenanigans with the Make Noise Optomix that's been fun in the past.
hi i love your content and modules. i was curious aboute vaemi instruments devices could you maybe do a video on their modules? (i know its weird to ask from here)
Hello, not so weird, is Vaemi Instruments you? If so there's an email on my channel about page you can email me there, or on my website divkidvideo.com.
It's a bit of a hidden feature not mentioned in the manuals. Schematics show that the cv was designed as an option (model III) and some version have the connection wired.
Rabbit Hole, I really like it it's mega flexible (as my video hopefully shows). Setting up a compression and more subtle saturation while also mixing in the SC source is a favourite at the minute.

Good call on patching Navigator that way to get those functions.
Oooh rms metering. Nice.
yeah those are nice, didn't show much but I've been using it just as a meter sometimes to be honest, signals in and out and just left to look pretty.

Fantastic inspiration as usual. I'm thinking Ochd + Otterley???
As a nice set of LFOs? Absolutely.
Ben and I... ...shit.. excuse me... DivKid and I went to the release of Nova Vodkas new release of Onion Vodka.. and both of us agree its delicious
I told them, stop using red onions in your Vodka, white onions give increased motor vehicle control while drinking it.
@@DivKid gotta rev the engine somehow! Haha
I love the " Lets Dive In" Images
They always crack me up
Thank You !!!
Excellence As Always
Utilities are the best
haha! Glad to hear that, I've reused a few but wanted to make a new one for this. A little silliness is a good fun.
What brand are those LED cables? They look nice (and slim)
they are the new My Volts cables, they've been great.
these are them - bit.ly/MyVoltsHalo
Utilities, yes!! 🔧
they make all the other things better.
Hardsync :)
hard sync!

haha gurn time recipe patching! :)
Very interesting examples! Any idea of the selling price? thx!
£99 however that translates to $€ etc. They flying out around the world at present.
Hard Sync! That LPG sidechain number was bangin!
Cheers! Appreciate that, I think it was the first time I've made an LPG a ducking device, specifically at least.

Very useful 2hp utility and such a cool name - IOU - . Apollo View Modular rules :)
DivKids videos are always very informative, love it 🤩
Yeah I really like the Apollo View modules names. Invert Offset Utility in this case so functionally nice too.
Thank you! Always appreciate it.

Great feature, sir Divs. I do love my faders attenuated for more performance fun :)
me too, going right up to 10V if needed is great, but the option to scale that back to anything lower is saves another module for me.
Especially loved the sound examples in this one.
Thanks, appreciate that.
Review next Tuesday?
maybe one video, or two split into separate ideas with it in the new year.
If the price is decent, that's perfect for feading precise negative cv to Nagra's speedcontrol
I think it was £99, however that translates to $€ etc. I didn't know the Nagra was a negative voltage speed control.
It's a bit of a hidden feature not mentioned in the manuals. Schematics show that the cv was designed as an option (model III) and some version have the connection wired.
And the negative cv is because it runs on -10,5V with positive ground. Don't ask why :D
White rabbit is the only module I regret selling. Might have to pick it up again. Nice to see more great stuff from Apollo!
That was an Error Instruments and This Is Not Rocket Science collab wasn't it?
ah - White Rabbit and Rabbit Hole (modules names) that's probably what brought rabbits into your head ... and now into mine :)
@@DivKid hah yeah that’s the one. The tube saturation module.

Thanks, I enjoy moving between styles while patching.
