College football has ALWAYS been about BIG business…don’t be mad at the student athletes now for making these colleges stand on the business portion. Blame the school not the player
College football is going to be unwatchable in the near future if they don't get NIL and all this paying the players stuff under control....
lol this is just the beginning.
Yeah tired of control it has become unattainable there needs to be control over NIL
The only thing that needs to happen is that players get what they are promised. I would be for making all of the "contracts" public just for transparency and maybe to set expectations for HS kids. The kids are the "product" that is being sold and a lot of folks are making a hell of a lot of money off of the "product". The "product" deserves what they are promised, not one dime more or less. I can't believe anyone would think otherwise.
IF UNLV did make a promise to him and not deliver, he should not play. This is a business now and he needs to get what he can get.
Shit good for him. They straight up lied to him.
These type of kids through the NIL garbage will ruin college football.
Thats right. Isnt a scholarship and NFL draft status enough to make kids wanna play with that school

Talking like an old head this is the modern day
Smart guy. He met his obligations, the school should meet theirs. They are making millions. He is putting his body on the line. Screw the schools, college football has made billions off the bodies of these guys. And for free tuition 😂, yeah right
Was this NIL through the school? Most likely through a third party. It is all wild, wild, west with this NIL.
@@cliftonconnor9389I agree, i don’t know. I would assume either way the school was involved
Sluka should just ask the other team to pay him market value of that game and take the dive.
Good for him - it is 2024 - business comes before football.
He obviously doesn’t want a future
Duh this was going to happen 😂
He can come to Michigan 😂
WTF NIL IS GOING TO DISRUPT THE TRUE NATURE OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL. ODOM SHOULD HAVE STARTED A GOFUNDME IF ADMIN COULDNT RAISE DECENT MONEY TO KEEP SLUKA. THIS SUCKS.
Turn off your caps lock
UNLV should be playing their games in the Raiders dome.
They play all there home games in the Raiders stadium.
They do
lol… 43% completion rate…. This is what’s called greed people… this clown doesn’t care about playing football. He only cares about making the most money possible.
As he should 🤷🏾♂️. The schools make millions the conferences make billions.
He has one year to grab the bag, because the NFL is not in his future....good.
And the Universities Don’t Care if their Student-Athletes Graduate so Everyone are Clowns because College Athletics is a Circus.
Free tuition wasn’t enough 😅
For real
@@lightingbolt8148not when ur promised 100k tf y’all weird
So much for free speech!
Lmao
Know your value. Any work place or company will replace you at anytime.
How much does he want? give me a amount i got you sluk,tm parking lot at 420pm bag cash.beat fresho.
He ain't coming back. He knows his value and UNLV didn't honor their side of the bargain.
They only gave him 3% of what was promised. Imagine if y'alls boss did that to you. OFC, you would be pissed just like he is right now
Imagine starting a job say hey you're going to get paid $100,000. 3 months in you're doing a really good job. And they say we're not going to pay you what we said. Don't think you would keep working
Only one side of the story. Hold judgement. What if UNLV was meeting its NIL obligation to the kid. But then he shines in the 3-0 start; and suddenly his market value dramatically shoots up. Who can say? Let's wait for the facts.
UNLV/NIL representatives should pay up as promised. It's a small sum considering what the future financial gains are. UNLV is 3-0, just beat a P4 team in Kansas and likely competing for a conference championship.
This is the difference between making and not making a bowl game. Very dumb selfish financial move.
It's not like he was going to be playing on NFL Sunday's anyway. This will be the most money that he will ever make. Unless he goes to the XFL or AFL.
The kid did right. The last kid left Unlv for USC as well.
The coach will leave in December if they were to make the CFP... so hey
Smh. College is ruined
The big mistake that the QB did was making a verbal agreement. When it comes to money, get that in writing!
The echo in background of this video 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
Payments to players has always been there. NIL just made it out in the open.
1 year left with a lack of proven track record. I'm sure he will get paid, but I doubt he will be earning what he thinks he should.
