Thanks for the great video. I am looking forward to seeing the mount in use. Do you think you will have time to test the difference between your different mounts?
I won't test the difference because I sold the othet mounts to pay for this one but I can tell you that it is easier to use than the avx or heq5. The hardware is annoying but it's made to reduce weight.
@@Dmitriy365 Was notified by iOptron that after powering up push button 9! Communication between HandControll and smartphone or tablet difficult at best and short. iOptron working on it I hope.
Any guiding information yet? I went with the HEM44, and so far, guiding has been pretty bad. Most likely sending it back and picking someth8ng else. This was an option.
I guide on a wooden deck so I can't say how good it can be until I make it to the park in warmer weather. Right now I am getting total 0.8 rms usually. Some weird spikes but that can be wind on my deck or wind effecting the carbon tripod.
Great stuff! I am seriously thinking of this mount and your first unboxing vid was precisely on point. Much appreciated!
For a first unboxing video you did great. I learned a lot more than I could just looking at the specs on a website. Thanks.
Cool video, thx. You can buy the mount without the ipolar. And sheer weight difference between HEM29 and AVX and HEQ5, its amazing.
Hello, please confirm the name and model of the taller tripod. Great work!
OK , found it! Innorel 90C

Curious to know if it worked after powering up, I bought an HAE29 and cannt get the RA DEC or the WiFi to work.
It works great. Can you not connect to it or app doesn't work?

How is the GPS handled? Is there an internal detector, an ad on device, or is manually programed?
The manuals are online now. Location comes from manual entry into the handset or from your wi-fi linked software, including Ioptron Commander.
There is no gps. It pulls the coordinates out of your phone or manual input.
how about guiding error
About 0.8 but I am not on stable ground. There are weird spikes which may just be wind.

@D S Not bad for a wooden deck and windy though. I'm getting more then double that on a concrete pad.
Sending mine back also as it is a bundle of problems.
