@@Texas_Road_Warrior well for engine to understand the new throttle bodies I'm pretty sure it has to understand it's taking more air in. Unless there actually is a leak from the part
@@imadonistv1178 The airflow code from the throttle bodies isn't being triggered at WOT. It's happening at small throttle openings where there is a correlation error between throttle position and airflow. While we can't see inside the S650 ECU yet, all modern cars have airflow correlation checks of some sort. A single 90mm throttle body can support over 600 hp without any problem. 2 of them is overkill. An NA S650 will not need bigger TBs at any conceivable bolt on power level.
These cars are going to drop some serious times when the ECUs are unlocked… they shift at peak power, and that short shift at the 1000ft mark is annoying… I’d be willing to bet we’ll see .2-.3 in the 1/4 with just a tune if not a little bit more
Have you tried 1/4 mile times in Sport Mode compared to Drag Mode? It sounds like 5th, 6th, & 7th are upshifting too fast? 6th gear seems like it would be the sweet spot if you could hold it longer til the finish line.
It’s in drag mode for every pass with traction control off. It needs 7th with the 4.09’s. But you’re right. It short shifts several gears including 2-3 at 6400. Give me 7500 in each gear and it will drop a 1-2 tenths.
I was thinking about doing the anti gravity Battery for my car just to drop another 30Lb's off the car but I see it's probably not a good Idea living in South Jersey where it goes down below the 20's at night...
I’m pretty sure ford has millions of dollars of RnD on the stock throttle bodies! If they saw gains with bigger ones I’m pretty sure they would have put them
Can't wait for tunes!
That throttle body company is punching the air right now
Has nothing to do with the throttle bodies, its the fact you cant tune the engine to fit with the throttle bodies.
That company is the one that advertises their throttle bodies do not need a tune so there's that@@imadonistv1178
@@imadonistv1178it doesn’t matter… the twin throttle bodies are already overkill… with a tune it’s not going to make a difference

Love yall guys!
Always knew stock throttle bodies and air boxes were the most efficient lol
I’m sure Uncle Alex will be talking about these passes tonight
Ahhh I got busy I’m have to watch the rerun
129!!!??? whats done to this rig to trap that high na? does it weigh 3000lb or something?
Ok so aftermarket throttle bodies is a no go for me, but what about porting out the oem throttle bodies & manifold? Would it be worth it to do?
We love our 1320 Junkie ported intake.
Absolute shame we can't tune the 24s. Not everyone wants a supercharger on theirs.
give it a year or two someone will crack it lol

Put a Roush blower on it and break the record for fastest s650 quarter mile
My 2010 camaro ss runs 6.7 1/8 mile full weight. In Florida weather.

@@Texas_Road_Warrior exactly. 7600-7800 every gear would drop 1-2 tenths easy.
Can yall make a driving video for the full race steeda tri-ax short throw im really on the edge on buying it but there aren’t any reviews for the s650
We might be able to make that happen. How often are you on track with your S650?
Get the sport shifter and you’ll love it.

Sucks you can’t get a tune for the 24 Mustang
This is what happens boys when you install goofy things on Your car like the throttle bodies without tuning.
Is there gonna be another mustang car show in Valdosta in 2025?
Steeda Stampede to SGMP on January 11th and the Spring Break Shootout Night Time car show on March 13th.
@ thank you brother 🙏🏽 also could you let me know where you found out those dates?
@@deliriousdesire9368 I work here. @steeda should be posting soon.
Bummer for throttle bodies lol
Yep, unfortunate for all those S650s out there with a ported manifold, heads, and open headers 🫤
What air pressure range did you use?
20.5 to 22 psi.
Cant you paddle shift it faster? 1st gear or 2nd gear start?
1st gear start and no, it doesn't react quick enough.
No this it what happens when you don't use proper size battery. Is it worth it?
It does save about 30lbs off the nose. This being a racecar we think it's worth it. If you drive your car on the street often, probably not.
Plenty of lightweight batteries that will do the job . Yes dropping 30lbs is worth it .
@@steedaautosports for sure!
Where do yall race?

what is the hood brand?

Just put a supercharger on it.
