And now gone way too soon...the youngest singer on this track on the same track with a British Invasion artist. I wasn't aware of it until today. In a cruel twist of fate, that's now two artists that McCartney has worked with who met untimely deaths, Grimmie in 2016 and John Lennon in 1980...under similar circumstances.

4 years ago I decided to perform this on our class, I was 1st year college student then. Now I am a teacher and I'm going to show this to my class. Hoping they will also be moved by this song.

yeah the song is good but not seen more than a third part of the people who sings on it make me think that the people who made the song just wanted money and didn't care about the cause, so didn't about gathering the singers together to film a real music video. Agree . It is vital to our planet that people be aware and it should be seen over and over again. The voices are amazing of course, but it's not about the artists - it's the message. And the visuals are outstanding. It leaves me in tears every time I see it.

It took me many many listens to figure out all the voices and when they sing. To those who can't find Christina Grimmie's voice, you can find it from 1:39-1:52 she's the one with the higher pitch. and then at 2:03 you can hear her voice pretty clearly. took me a while to find it, but I'm pretty sure its her :D

I swear when I first heard this song I said the same thing. I'm Surprised to see someone even mention that song. My 5th grade class back in I believe 2010-11 actually played a lip sync performance of "we are the world". I used to have the video of it but I lost it sadly.
