- People who go through something together have a natural bond. Liam Flaherty was a member of FDNY’s Rescue 4 in Queens. Since he wasn’t on duty, he jumped into his car and headed to the World Trade Center.

On certain topics yes. On others.....definitely not. After 15 years on the job, I can definitely say that the firehouse kitchen is not the place for open, enlightened conversation.
The firehouse kitchen is part therapist office, part classroom, and part comedy stage.
