  • People who go through something together have a natural bond. Liam Flaherty was a member of FDNY’s Rescue 4 in Queens. Since he wasn’t on duty, he jumped into his car and headed to the World Trade Center.

    You will learn more in the Firehouse kitchen in a few hours than you would in a year of college.

      On certain topics yes. On others.....definitely not. After 15 years on the job, I can definitely say that the firehouse kitchen is not the place for open, enlightened conversation.

    Great guy , I think he was at one point the youngest captain in the whole of the fdny.
    Sow a documentary on here with him when he was at rescue 4, just before his first promotion. Respect from the uk
