Reminds me of cotton farming & ginning here in the Missouri Bootheel. I worked in cotton gins every fall from 1978 - 1994. I sure miss those good paychecks!

This is in an area called wee waa in NSW out here we have a big shed called CSD [Cotton Seed Distributers] because wee waa has the biggest cotton out put in all of AUS

I have never seen a two press gin, or even a gin of this magnitude. I live down the road from what used to be the biggest gin in the world, up until a few years ago.
So many questions!
How many bales a shift or 24 hr period?
How is the seed stored? In an overhead house or is it cross augured and loaded from the ground?
Is the seed sent to an oil mil or is it sent to be used for feed?
Is there any cotton burr or trash at all? I ask because that has to be some of the cleanest round bales I have ever seen.
we did around 960 bales in 24hr, seeds went to the silo and trucks took them away, not sure if its for oil or for feed, I think they sell it and yea there was some trash 😄
@@KristoVeertee I guess the size of the gin, the twin feeders and twin press, impressed me.
I figured it would have been at least a 1200 per shift or 2400 a day gin. But the quality of the cotton there is way way better than the West Texas cotton.
Its awesome seeing cotton harvesting and ginning from other countries.

@@wtx_fte the seed mostly goes for feed. There is the biggest seed crushing plant in the southern hemisphere that produces cotton and canola oil in the town not far from this gin and there used to be a lot of seed sent there but unfortunately due to issues like the massive drought we've been in it has shut down.

Придется детят Узбекистана много страдать, терпеть, мучиться, и мало зарабатывать, только лишь из - за того , что привязаны к месту жительства , так сказать родина. И так будет продолжаться еще одно столетие , если не два , кому что. 😵

Thomas Maxwell my dear old 78 year old dad was a cotton farmer growing up in South Carolina, hand picking. He said no, but if the plant’s seeds drop, they can. The cotton is the product of the plant’s full life cycle & the cotton it harvested once the plant is dead or near dead. He was amazed by this & he had to feel cheated. He said the thorns tear your hands up , hand picking. Great video of Americana industry.
