Great review. I have this on my S21 Ultra. Very flimsy on the bottom as you said. I miss the credit card slot on my Note 10+ LED case. I'm not sure if I will ever get used to the Spen not beind inside the device. Spen is much better to use now, even with less features. I don't like how the top of the case slides all the time over the screen. I wonder if it will rub damage on the case over time.
The tech diagrams for this must be what people thought was the Z Fold Lite ... Also, the S View functions are exactly like the Z Flip. Did we miss a size comparison with the Note 20?

My s view case on my galaxy S8 had so many features. It could be customized to no end, could enable AOD to display any symbol or clock. You could change the font and clock to analog or digital. There were hundreds of available icons to choose from, some were animated, some were stock. My s view case for my s21 has ZERO customization. All it would take is an engineer that cared and they could port any number of features into this case. It's just laziness on Samsung's part. This comment is 1 year after this video was released. So after 1 year, they've added literally nothing to this case.

The reason why you can't really do much functionality with the Sview is plain and simple. It's based off of the always-on display type functionality. you can't do functionality on the always on display it works the same way you have to click on something on the always-on display and then you have to unlock the phone to use it. It may have something to do with how it works getting rid of all those pixels to make it black in the background. But I'm sure there's a reason because they've never changed that. It would be cool though but I don't think it's possible with the technology right now when it comes to screens
if you use your brains you can see and tell that the s view window lines up perfectly with the cameras in the back on the phone so theres no issue taking pics
I ahted that case the cover would flap around all the time and when you record it gets in the way some times it flaps onto the camera and when you look at your videos you see when it it blocks the camera wish they would've thought that case out better preffer the silicone over this one

@@world-wide9136 To clarify it's really got nothing to do with the case itself. It's to do with the screen turning off. That is what they tie it into - various apps do this also that have "paid" functionality. There is, of course, a free way to do it though if you want to. Download the F-Droid app store(www.f-droid.org/) and use NewPipe(f-droid.org/en/packages/org.schabi.newpipe/). It doesn't use accounts or the UA-cam API as it scrapes the website and acts like a person browsing the website, but it's very feature-filled and customisable, plus it's open-sourced. There are some caveats though, and that is inherent to its design. The app is susceptible to code changes in UA-cam's website so you may run into problems where loading a video or something will error out and this can, depending on the problem, take time to fix but they're usually pretty quick about getting an update out.
Yes it does, really badly, although it's the factory fitted screen protector it scratches, I bought mine with the phone, seen the scratches appearing, read the reviews on amazon, its a really bad case, used it fir 3 days, now its in the phone bag never to be used again! Big regret and waste of money
@@ben_braaf I don't think it will scratch the glass under the screen protector that comes fitted on the phone, what I didn't want to do is take the screen protector off, I will replace the factory fitted one eventually when it starts ageing etc, just annoyed me, what is whitedome?
I just got mine and I'll be returning it. Not worth it to me. It's too flimsy for such an expensive phone. The features aren't worth being twice as much as more protective cases.

Such a pity that they don't allow you to watch video horizontally on a desktop. Meaning, the case can not prop the phone up at 45° on a tabletop.

The s5 case was definitely the best sview case. It had so many features and a bigger screen.

I just updated my S21 Ultra and tried the case on again. Mine works fine. I'd try restarting your phone then take the case off then put it back on.

If you're referring to the lock-screen wallpaper at 6:06 it is pre-loaded into the S21 Ultra, maybe the others also.

You can't unless you have UA-cam Premium. Only Premium users can listen to videos while the case is closed.

This case damages the screen of the S21 Ultra. There are dozens of scratches on the right sidewall. So just put it in the trash.
