well in Iceland we don't really go to houses to trick or treat at night we usually go to malls or stores and sing to a worker and then you'll get candy... but as a autistic person it's kind of hard to sing for a stranger I'm really shy... :-P

Halloween is pretty hard core here in Canada too. There was one time when a lady didn't buy any candy for trick or treaters, so she gave out fruits but I like fruit so that was ok.

I live in New Zealand, and one Halloween I was like seven and me and all of my friends were trick or treating. In the local dairy there were massive plastic bag things of clear sugar syrup (basically a heart attack in a bag) and we stopped at this one person's house. They had those sugar syrup bags, but they dyed the sugar syrup red, since there is no Halloween themed lollies at ALL. Halloween is kind of just an excuse for weebs to cosplay outside of Armageddon.

Well I like halloween even though we dont exactly have it. In my country we have other celebration that we call it "Carnival". And for all of february we can get dress up. And the Last Day (in schools and streets) There is a big wood that has rainbow ribbons attached to and All the Kids take one and start twirling (dancing like around the wood in a circle). Yeah sorry for my bad english but there are no words in english for out celebration 😅

Halloween is not a huge thing in my country either but that's probably because you have the same celebration in spring over here, basically- on the day the winter leaves and the spring starts you dress up and go around houses and people give you coins or candy, it's a really popular celebration but I don't ever remember going out in a costume- except this one year when I was a fairy, went to one of my neighbors and she filled my bag with coins and candy so I only went to her house and that was that xD
One thing that is a bit annoying is the fact that I have so many ideas of what to dress up as for Halloween, but fully forget all my ideas by the time it is happening. Also, you should come to the US during Halloween. You aren't missing out on the candy corn though. That stuff is gross. Another annoying thing about Halloween when you want to do group costumes but nobody likes your ideas. The most annoying thing in my opinion is when you can't dress up as something creepy because it will either scare your little siblings or you parents don't want you to dress up like that. This year, I am hoping to dress up like Kuchisake-onna. That reminds me, people often will be annoyed when teenagers come around. They think the kids are too old to trick or treat. And those times when you don't think about a costume until a week beforehand and don't know what to do because they don't have a costume.
I personally like Halloween it’s always fun. Except for my seventh one when I had a last minute costume and I got a bee sting and I had Benadryl and slept for two hours. So I missed out on trick or treating that year and I’ve been scared of bees ever since (only when there around me though). It’s fine if you don’t though it’s your opinion nothing wrong with that.

Omg I’ve celebrated Halloween since forever. Carving pumpkins is so fun! So is decorating your house and going trick or treating. I guess Australia might be more into Halloween, but it’s mostly little kids. Last year the most bizarre thing happened, this guy came up to me, he was also trick or treating and he told me to take some of his candy, I pulled out chips and I don’t even like that type of chip.

Where I live in Britain if you don’t celebrate or don’t like Halloween you will LITERALLY get burned at the stake and if you don’t have a pumpkin, someone WILL give you a pumpkin with a note saying something like ‘hey I noticed that you didn’t have a pumpkin, here’s one! Enjoy!’ At least I do that to people.

Though in my country we do have a “Christmas” (it’s definitely pagan in some way but it happens around the same time) tradition in small villages that makes up for the lack of Halloween. It involves a person dressed as a ghost horse going from door to door & rap battling with the home owners in order to gain access to their food & alcohol.

well i live in estonia it's between russia and finland. in our country we don't celebrate halloween. in november 10th we have like our national event. when kids dress up as black and draw eards on their face and go house to house. it's alot more fun and alot more work, cuz kids usually learn dances or songs, or poems. samething on november 25th (day before my b-day) just we dress in white and stuff. in estonia it's pretty rainy and windy in autumn, and sometimes it even snows in november

Definetly different type of pumpkin uwu we have the same situation in Aus, not many ppl celebrate Halloween, and very little people participate. The pumpkins here are green too, the only time I see orange pumpkins is this new things the grocery stores have now during October where they literally just call them “jack-o-lantern pumpkins” lol

Omg I’ve celebrated Halloween since forever. Carving pumpkins is so fun! So is decorating your house and going trick or treating. I guess Australia might be more into Halloween, but it’s mostly little kids. Last year the most bizarre thing happened, this guy came up to me, he was also trick or treating and he told me to take some of his candy, I pulled out chips and I don’t even like that type of chip.
I live in New Zealand (Christchurch) also and my friends are Halloween Addicts and why I mean addicts they have been planning a Halloween party since January. I got to give them credit for a country that has mixed feelings about Halloween, they definitely spooky cheer into it 😂
The best part of Halloween is when someone actually recognizes your Halloween costume._. And ye, trick or treating is actually the worst part of it for me. I have anxiety that is kinda bad, and I can't just go up to ppl's homes and basically ask for candy

When you go around to look sharp for a cheap Halloween costume... You find more Christmas stuff than Halloween stuff. It happened this year to me and my siblings... The joys of living in NZ ^_^

I have never been trick or treating. My parents never let me, they were always telling me how its an 'evil' holiday. Which I guess in a way it is, but I don't know. The most I've done in the realm of halloween is dress up in school or in online games.

I live in a country that *barely* celebrates halloween, like, no one ever talks about it, we never go trick or treating (my parents don't even let me leave the house without an adult), it's really rare to see halloween decorations on the houses yada yada, we never even celebrate it in school, I was the only one who brought some things related to halloween (candy and stuff), i like really halloween but christmas is definitely better for me.
U can be catnoir or ladybug if u have a black or red sweater and also foam paper (to make the mask) u can have a MIRACULOUSLY costume!! (For lady bug tape black foam dots and for chat u can make a tail out of..fabric?) ps: use foam paper for chat's ears

fact: the only send out candy on Halloween because the families were sending out home baked treats, but the candy companies saw it as an opportunity to promote candy

Halloween used to be celebrated a lot more when I was younger but now everyone celebrates Halloween for a bit at around the start of October then instantly move onto Christmas a few days before Halloween

In France at halloween (well in my city) the candy are like 10% more expensive than the normal and i'm just so sad about that so when i was younger i take 2 costume and put on to knok on a stranger door and than come back but with the second costume so yeah i was a smartass
But the thing i like in French halloween is that in TV there's a lot of cartoon special and that really cool
yeah, where I am from Halloween Is very popular. I remember my favorite candy around the time was these big spiders with twist off backs that have sour candy inside of it.

Where I live in Britain if you don’t celebrate or don’t like Halloween you will LITERALLY get burned at the stake and if you don’t have a pumpkin, someone WILL give you a pumpkin with a note saying something like ‘hey I noticed that you didn’t have a pumpkin, here’s one! Enjoy!’ At least I do that to people.

I kinda perfer chrismas over halloween since where i live its not a great place to trick or treat and no one celebrates it. Of course some(not that much) ppl decorate theyre houses but i dont decorate. But for chrismas is a BOMB music everywhere everyone singing,dancing, ect... you get gifts and give gifts too, freak out over what you got, being awake for those SWEET LOVELY PRESENTS

I'll be that very rare American saying how crazy Halloween is here. Kids go trick or treating, adults go to parties and everyone has a good time.
I’m so jealous of America, they go all out with Halloween over there. Meanwhile I just sadly sit at home dressed as a wizard.
Though in my country we do have a “Christmas” (it’s definitely pagan in some way but it happens around the same time) tradition in small villages that makes up for the lack of Halloween. It involves a person dressed as a ghost horse going from door to door & rap battling with the home owners in order to gain access to their food & alcohol.
I recommend watching Hocus Pocus if you can watch it in the UK.

well i live in estonia it's between russia and finland. in our country we don't celebrate halloween. in november 10th we have like our national event. when kids dress up as black and draw eards on their face and go house to house. it's alot more fun and alot more work, cuz kids usually learn dances or songs, or poems. samething on november 25th (day before my b-day) just we dress in white and stuff. in estonia it's pretty rainy and windy in autumn, and sometimes it even snows in november

I don’t like Halloween either which I kind of find weird since I am a horror fanatic, I got boxes full of horror movies and Stephen King Books and I play any Horror game I can find. Halloween just feels boring to me, Christmas is my favourite holiday. Can’t believe the first time you went trick or treating was 10, I live in Canada and I went pretty young (I don’t know how old I was but I remember sitting in a stroller so pretty young)
