Peter DeLuise was so underrated. He was such a highlight on that show and brought out the best of Depp. You can see why they shined together on screen.
Peter was from a family of famous actors and such, his father is Dom Deluise and Johnny was new to the industry, so it makes sense that he was under Peter's wing so to speak.!

In his defense I think the question prosed was that they hired him to be a John Candy type and his character was supposed to be a bigger guy. He mentioned he'd lost weight since the show started and asked if the showrunners were mad about it. It came off a little odd but I do think his point wasn't to insult, I think it was show related. Of course interviews were VERY different from the 80's but I find them more refreshing!

Depp and holy Robinson were gone . Deluise hung around till December 1990 . His character went to open a bowling ally with a good friend only mention of officer hanson in that 5th series he was a good bowler lol. Johnny depp is on the 5th season boxset DVD but not in any episode long gone.

So one of the last episodes he did his hair was covering his face. But he had fun doing that episode he was acting like last day of school before Xmas he knew he was out of there.
