Good night for Brent Marks with a 4th in this race and 3rd in points from tonight's 41 drivers so happy to see Brent Marks having a good night for a change in this west coast swing for the High Limit Series. I do agree with the different tracks. Woo hasn't been to grandview in almost 10 years. With HL in the game now too the woo have some tracks they havnt been to in a long time like baps and selinsgrove. HL has been doing some different tracks than the woo have been more often tho. Spreads out the awareness of the sport to me. Even if it's low numbers in the crowd. If they have a good show it might turn more heads in our direction.
Looks like something broke on the 45 left front even before he was going into turn three. I slowed it down and looked like the left front was somewhat laid down going into three.
hmmm, how come courtney didnt get his spot back after the flip? he spun to avoid the wreck after the red was out like larson did the other week. funny how that works
Courtney was running 18th when he stopped and two laps into the restart he’s 17th. I wasn’t there to see it, but unless he passed a half dozen cars in a couple of laps, he got his spot back.
@@nickmanning3307 I just rewatched it on Flo replay Sunshine was up to 12th with 11 laps to go, he spun along with Kahne, both went into the pits relegating him to the back of the field which for him was the 19th position according to Flo’s leader board or whatever you want to call it, with 6 laps to go the red flag came out which is the lap he spun to avoid the accident he had only moved up 1 spot to 18th which when it went back to green is where he restarted in 18th. I expect the same for Skagit as well with a good crowd tomorrow and a packed house on Saturday. The same will happen at Port Royal Speedway next week with Thursday's race not crowded but much better on Friday and with a packed crowd of fans next Saturday for the Tuscarora 50. Too many people don't like to stay up late on a work night like Thursday night.
Doesn't help having a start time of 5:00 on a Thursday, but I guarantee the place will be filled up on Saturday for the biggest payout so far for the HighLimit series! Skagit also has a lot of seating and the camera was zoomed down over the top of where people usually fill in before going down towards the lower part of the stands. The Beer Garden is off to left between turns 3&4, above the grass hill and there is a lot of seatimg up there too. Still is not packed, but $45-$50 per ticket to get in can get pretty expensive if you're paying to go all 3 nights and not including paying for food, beer, etc, especially if you have a family to pay for too.
