They are cool fish for sure. They get a bad rap from some fishermen since they can be bait-stealers, slime everything, and have a super painful sting. However, the gafftopsail catfish in this video put up a respectable fight, are pretty easy to catch, and even taste good.

As someone that basically only fishes freshwater unless on a deep sea charter trip, I had no idea there is saltwater catfish that was sick
