A friend of mine got talked into doing an MLM while she was in her second major round of chemo in an attempt to make extra money while going through medical procedures. She died with MLM promos all over her socials and likely left her husband with MLM debt and random product. I still want to find the person who talked a chronic rare cancer patient into selling MLM mascara and take them out at the knee caps.
I don’t know you, but if you do find them and want some butt kicking back up, I am there with you. That sounds so horrific. MLMs are predatory and gross. Taking advantage of someone who is fighting cancer is beyond bottom feeding scumbag. (No one will ever change my mind, I said what I said). I’m so sorry that happened to your friend.
That is awful! I would ask the husband if he can call the company (or her up line or whatever they’re called) and let them know she passed. One of my consultants died in a routine surgery last week - we called the company and they said to ship back everything she has no matter how old it was and they would reimburse the family 100%. I hope her husband can be relieved from any debt or inventory she may’ve accumulated. 💔

I’m pregnant too and meat kinda grosses me out.. also, as far as MLM companies go, do the video and don’t spare the details! If more people were aware of how horrible MLM’s are then less people will get sucked into these fake get rich schemes.
I couldn't eat meat, chicken, anything animal asides eggs but I ate fresh fruits and vegetables constantly like omg I felt like vegan or something and my morning sickness was at night not early in the day ugh it was horrid and lasted till I popped lol unfortunately I had to give birth early because of low amniotic fluid but thankfully my son is 6 months old now and he is so big even though he was 4pds 12ozs he was tiny and now he has 2 teeth and snaps at me lol I'm so grateful because he is my little miracle I only have one ovary but that's another story lol
OMG both time pregnant with my babies I could not even look at meat... let alone cook it!!! I ate cereal for dinner almost every night.... and after my 2nd baby.... (who is 2 now!) and I still cannot fuck with meat.
I had all day (rather than morning) sickness from 6 weeks until 5 months. After that, I couldn't eat meat or dairy. When I gave birth, everything went back to normal 🤷🏽♀️
Cats definitely take care of other cats when they’re expecting. And cats also think that we’re cats and that’s why they try to take care of us. So I totally think your good girl is just being extra vigilant waiting for the baby
On the same lines as MLMs, what really gets me these days is the “master classes”. Where creators, ect. with bigger followings create these paid ($100’s +) online exclusive workshops promising people this whole jip on becoming profitable creators “like them”. Its garbage and a ploy and people get sucked into thinking if they pay this money they will succeed.
Speaking of MLMs, a couple of my friends are in Herbalife and it's literally so difficult to get through a conversation with them without them bringing up their products and pushing it at least 15 times. I know it's business and they've targets but it affects the personal relationship they share with others.
I TOTALLY AGREE! My friend just joined Monat and has been trying so hard to get me to join her team. I already did Arbonne with her and that wasn’t successful and a total waste of money. I am so excited you’re coming out with a video on mlms! I make a lot of anti-mlm content on UA-cam and have done a lot of research on this topic, if you have any questions or need any resources I would love to help! My favorite emerging aspect in the anti-mlm community are pages and resources that help with recovery from an mlm and give advice on how to leave, and I think the biggest problem with mlms is their focus on targeting mothers who want to be there for their children by telling them that “this is a way to earn money and be with your kids” which we know is not the case. The false hope and emphasis on recruiting friends leads to problems within families and friendships and it’s heartbreaking! Anyways, I would love to help in any way I can!

Having had two children, one born at 27 weeks with Cerebral Palsy and the other born at 40 weeks and perfectly normal, the best advice you will ever receive is to trust your own instincts. Unfortunately, the unsolicited advice is going to come your way regardless if it’s your first or your tenth kid. Everyone has an opinion on parenting, even those that aren’t parents! I’ve gotten so much unsolicited advice on not just parenting, but on my parenting my particular situation (I have twins.) It’s annoying but I’ve accepted it’s never going to stop no matter what I do or say 😞

So we had a miscarriage last year and my cat started becoming so clingy and lovey, and since finding out we're pregnant again in June, he has been so much more so! Follows me to the bathroom, comes and just lays on me, follows me everywhere. I love it but agree, it's a nuisance, but still a good one😂❤
Re: Introvert/extrovert - I've had it explained to me that an extrovert is someone that gains energy in social situations, and an introvert is someone who has their energy depleted by social interactions. Essentially, an introverted person can be 'loud' and have the qualities of what we see as an extrovert in certain social situations, but they can only sustain this for a limited period of time. Shyness can be a factor and I think it's pretty common in introverts but I don't think it is only a trait that introverts have. Idk if that makes sense? But I'm the same, I can over talk and over emote and also put a lot of effort into social situations, but it takes a lot out of me and I always have to recharge with much more alone time afterwards!
I think that's a good way of understanding it. I'm the biggest introvert, I have to mentally and physically prepare before being in public and I can enjoy the moment I'm with other people (even being the joker in the group) but after I get so tired and then I just want to go home and recharge my energy for a week without socializing. My sister is the opposite, she seeks out social events and being with people because it's like she recharges energy that way, after a party she would be the one that wants to go to the after-party and I think that's insane lol
Im a shy extrovert! I get so much energy and happiness in group/social situations but I’m so shy that I get social anxiety. A whole paradox but thats life

You are gonna be a great mother. Nobody will be a “perfect” parent and there are sooo many different parenting choices and you will struggle obviously but as time goes on you will get better and you are beautiful and your baby will be perfect no matter what anyone says
I am so ready for this MLM video! I’m a nurse and all my coworkers are in MLM’s and trying to get me to do them. I constantly try to explain what a scam it is and they just act like they have never even heard this before or not intelligent enough to do their own research on it. It drives me literally INSANE.
I had a “blind date” with my now husband. We were introduced by my sister and other than talking on the phone and seeing pictures on Facebook we had never met. From the first moment I saw him I thought he was just the most handsome man and attracted to him was an understatement. We went to dinner and then rented a movie and came back to my dorm. While talking I found out he was helping renovate a church the next day and where I lived was actually a lot closer than his place so he stayed the night and we went together the next day. The night after that we stayed at his place. On that day I was painting and completing and art assignment. He said at that moment he knew he was going to marry me. He dropped me off to my dorm after the weekend. Once he dropped me off I prayed so hard that he would like me because I was already falling for him. We were engaged 3 months later and married after 8 months. Our 11 year wedding anniversary is in December. ❤️

I almost got sucked into an MLM when I was sick and couldn't get a regular job a couple years ago! I had never heard of an MLM either and it seemed like a great solution. My mom was involved in it and she didn't know what an MLM was either. I think they definitely take advantage of people who just haven't been educated on how that business structure works. I hope you're able to get out with minimal loss! I agree about watching Kiki Chanel's videos about them, that's how I learned the extent of how bad they are.

My sister-in-law's cat started making biscuits on her belly nightly about a week before she found out she was pregnant, and then was super attentive during the pregnancy... then the night my SIL's water broke, Claudette (the cat, obs) would not leave her side.... sat on her feet when she was in the bathroom, all that. She definitely could sense the business.

YES! i was hesitant to try hellofresh because i’ve used blue apron in the past, and their “40 minute” recipes had me in the kitchen for almost two hours. i didn’t want the same experience with hellofresh. but i finally bit the bullet and used kristi’s code about a month ago, and i’ve been SO happy with it! i get the veggie plan and every recipe has been amazing, and the most important part for me, their cooking times are on point!

Just a PSA for anyone in early pregnancy and is freaked out by the intense negativity put out there by most women (people do tend to tell you he negative stories LONG before they tell you the positive). I’m currently 36 weeks and it’s been an incredible experience, no real pains, no discomfort, super lovely, positive experience. Just putting it out there to counteract some of the negativity ❤️❤️❤️

My daughter is 14 now. My only hope is that she never has a childhood she has to recover from. I had a pretty rough one and when I had her I had to cut a lot of family out of my life because she will never see the things I did. I feel like we will only know how we did as parents when they grow up.

Totally agree with the Hello Fresh new techniques! There’s one recipe where you just brush mayo on your chicken and then use that to stick breadcrumbs to the top and bake it. So much easier than dipping in egg and breadcrumbs and way less clean up! And the mayo sounds weird but its so goooood

Speaking as someone who never dated before about a year ago, it does get easier. Sometimes there are still nerves and awkwardness, but it eases and you learn a lot about yourself in the process. Just guard your heart and try to enjoy this season for what it is, even though it will be stressful and messy sometimes, the introspection you will gain is worth it. Rooting for you.

I agree with this. ^ She already has so much anxiety from just her OWN thoughts about parenting, I don't think it would be healthy for her to actively open up that can of worms by making a video about her fears with parenting. People are outright savage and seriously brutal when it comes to parenting advice (even those without kids🙄). Being a first time mom with a 1 1/2 yr old, as much as I'd love to hear what Kristi thinks about everything about parenting because I'd love to see how we relate and offer comfort and support to fears she has that I had too; most people aren't out to offer support or comfort unfortunately. They just shove their opinions down your throat as if it's fact.
Your anti-mlm content will be amazing, I’m sure. Those involved in mlms are going to have something to say to you, about you- they always do. However, I’m sure your anti-mlm perspective will be invaluable. As far as discussing the fears you have for motherhood, if that’s helpful to you, do it. It doesn’t sound like you’re necessarily looking for advice- what advice is there for fears, other than identifying that you’re afraid, planning for the challenges, and making a plan for your life that you’re comfortable with? What it sounds like is important is identifying your feelings, expressing them, and having a community’s support. There’s nothing wrong with that and I’d argue your videos regularly include that dynamic. It’s part of what I love about watching you.

I couldn't eat meat, chicken, anything animal asides eggs but I ate fresh fruits and vegetables constantly like omg I felt like vegan or something and my morning sickness was at night not early in the day ugh it was horrid and lasted till I popped lol unfortunately I had to give birth early because of low amniotic fluid but thankfully my son is 6 months old now and he is so big even though he was 4pds 12ozs he was tiny and now he has 2 teeth and snaps at me lol I'm so grateful because he is my little miracle I only have one ovary but that's another story lol
OMG both time pregnant with my babies I could not even look at meat... let alone cook it!!! I ate cereal for dinner almost every night.... and after my 2nd baby.... (who is 2 now!) and I still cannot fuck with meat.
I had all day (rather than morning) sickness from 6 weeks until 5 months. After that, I couldn't eat meat or dairy. When I gave birth, everything went back to normal 🤷🏽♀️

I know it's business and they've targets but it affects the personal relationship they share with others.

I make a lot of anti-mlm content on UA-cam and have done a lot of research on this topic, if you have any questions or need any resources I would love to help! My favorite emerging aspect in the anti-mlm community are pages and resources that help with recovery from an mlm and give advice on how to leave, and I think the biggest problem with mlms is their focus on targeting mothers who want to be there for their children by telling them that “this is a way to earn money and be with your kids” which we know is not the case. The false hope and emphasis on recruiting friends leads to problems within families and friendships and it’s heartbreaking! Anyways, I would love to help in any way I can!

Re: Introvert/extrovert - I've had it explained to me that an extrovert is someone that gains energy in social situations, and an introvert is someone who has their energy depleted by social interactions. Essentially, an introverted person can be 'loud' and have the qualities of what we see as an extrovert in certain social situations, but they can only sustain this for a limited period of time. Shyness can be a factor and I think it's pretty common in introverts but I don't think it is only a trait that introverts have. Idk if that makes sense? But I'm the same, I can over talk and over emote and also put a lot of effort into social situations, but it takes a lot out of me and I always have to recharge with much more alone time afterwards!
I think that's a good way of understanding it. I'm the biggest introvert, I have to mentally and physically prepare before being in public and I can enjoy the moment I'm with other people (even being the joker in the group) but after I get so tired and then I just want to go home and recharge my energy for a week without socializing. My sister is the opposite, she seeks out social events and being with people because it's like she recharges energy that way, after a party she would be the one that wants to go to the after-party and I think that's insane lol

I had a “blind date” with my now husband. We were introduced by my sister and other than talking on the phone and seeing pictures on Facebook we had never met. From the first moment I saw him I thought he was just the most handsome man and attracted to him was an understatement. We went to dinner and then rented a movie and came back to my dorm. While talking I found out he was helping renovate a church the next day and where I lived was actually a lot closer than his place so he stayed the night and we went together the next day. The night after that we stayed at his place. On that day I was painting and completing and art assignment. He said at that moment he knew he was going to marry me. He dropped me off to my dorm after the weekend. Once he dropped me off I prayed so hard that he would like me because I was already falling for him. We were engaged 3 months later and married after 8 months. Our 11 year wedding anniversary is in December. ❤️

I almost got sucked into an MLM when I was sick and couldn't get a regular job a couple years ago! I had never heard of an MLM either and it seemed like a great solution. My mom was involved in it and she didn't know what an MLM was either. I think they definitely take advantage of people who just haven't been educated on how that business structure works. I hope you're able to get out with minimal loss! I agree about watching Kiki Chanel's videos about them, that's how I learned the extent of how bad they are.

as someone with severe anxiety, i would absolutely L O V E a video on your own rational and irrational parenting fears. the worst part about anxiety is feeling like im alone with these thoughts, so it would be incredibly reassuring to hear your fears. Just a PSA for anyone in early pregnancy and is freaked out by the intense negativity put out there by most women (people do tend to tell you he negative stories LONG before they tell you the positive). I’m currently 36 weeks and it’s been an incredible experience, no real pains, no discomfort, super lovely, positive experience. Just putting it out there to counteract some of the negativity ❤️❤️❤️

My daughter is 14 now. My only hope is that she never has a childhood she has to recover from. I had a pretty rough one and when I had her I had to cut a lot of family out of my life because she will never see the things I did. I feel like we will only know how we did as parents when they grow up.

The fact that your nervous about being a good mom proves you will be one. You are such a warm loving caring person. You educate yourself on so many topics and you've said in the past that you are going to go with the flow and not put pressure on yourself (breastfeeding etc) once you see that munchkin everything will make sense and fall into place

Totally agree with the Hello Fresh new techniques! There’s one recipe where you just brush mayo on your chicken and then use that to stick breadcrumbs to the top and bake it. So much easier than dipping in egg and breadcrumbs and way less clean up! And the mayo sounds weird but its so goooood

When guys have cats on their profile its an automatic no 😂 im severely allergic to their saliva to the point that i get hives. so in my head im like, im not going anywhere that i have to be drugged and i am not into ultimatums (i could never do that to someone or their pet) because eventually it's going to be me or the cat. i think i get ahead of myself a bit huh. all this in my head before there's even a hello 😂

Speaking as someone who never dated before about a year ago, it does get easier. Sometimes there are still nerves and awkwardness, but it eases and you learn a lot about yourself in the process. Just guard your heart and try to enjoy this season for what it is, even though it will be stressful and messy sometimes, the introspection you will gain is worth it. Rooting for you.
After seeing the way people talk to you in your Instagram DMs, I think the “what I’m afraid about with parenting” vid isn’t gonna be the best idea. People are brutal when it comes to parenting and kids and I don’t think you need more of that on another platform

I agree with this. ^ She already has so much anxiety from just her OWN thoughts about parenting, I don't think it would be healthy for her to actively open up that can of worms by making a video about her fears with parenting. People are outright savage and seriously brutal when it comes to parenting advice (even those without kids🙄). Being a first time mom with a 1 1/2 yr old, as much as I'd love to hear what Kristi thinks about everything about parenting because I'd love to see how we relate and offer comfort and support to fears she has that I had too; most people aren't out to offer support or comfort unfortunately. They just shove their opinions down your throat as if it's fact.

As far as discussing the fears you have for motherhood, if that’s helpful to you, do it. It doesn’t sound like you’re necessarily looking for advice- what advice is there for fears, other than identifying that you’re afraid, planning for the challenges, and making a plan for your life that you’re comfortable with? What it sounds like is important is identifying your feelings, expressing them, and having a community’s support. There’s nothing wrong with that and I’d argue your videos regularly include that dynamic. It’s part of what I love about watching you.
