Griffith Park Film Sets

Griffith Park is one of the largest parks in the country, attracting more than 10 million visitors annually. Numerous movies have been filmed in the park, including the currently popular 'La La Land' and classics like 'Batman.' In this same park sits a barn that Walt Disney built in his backyard (now part of the park) in 1950. He spent countless hours in this barn, working on his hobby of steam trains. The steam trains are now owned and operated by the LALIS, a member organization that provide free steam rides to families every weekend.
