First of all, great vid. You've really outfitted that MAX well. I might make a couple additional comments, specifically with regard to rock crawling a side by side. The bead locks are great, but the primary benefit to running bead locks when rock crawling is the ability to air the tires down increasing the contact patch for better traction. I air down to the point there's some noticeable squish in the sidewall at the bottom of the tire. Another point I'd make is that it's a far better option to completely disconnect both sway bars for extra traction and articulation for crawling. Disconnecting the sway bars is far more effective in increasing "flex" than any aftermarket spring or valving upgrade (or sway bar shock). There are inexpensive sway bar quick disconnects available for the X3 now. The third thing I would mention is that you have the ZRP radius arms. Super cool and important Mod! Those would be the first thing I would have mentioned because of their incredible strength. Those arms are absolutely Necessary for crawling. The stock radius arms bend if they even get close to a rock. The ZRP's are 7075 T6 aircraft grade aluminum and are the strongest on the market Only ZRP and one other brand make these super strong arms using 7075. The Assault industries arms are kiddie toys by comparison. Again, Great Video. I like what you've done to your car in terms of safety and coms for sure. I'd really like to see more people crawling their SxS's. They won't do what a jeep or a purpose built crawler will do, but if we keep pushing the industry forward I bet we can get close!!!! Rock on... lol....
Looks like you addressed all the single shear brackets on your rig. Never understood the engineering flaw but needless to say your rig looks bulletproof. Great video, sand hollow is a few hours south of me. Cannot wait for my first trip
Nice rig! We started rock crawling about 4 months ago with our x3 Max. Slowly transforming it into something like yours. I wanted to throw 35” tires on mine but was swayed into not getting them from many. We ended up getting 32” with 5+2 offset. I’m assuming that your 64” wide....What is the offset on your System 3 wheels to clear the rear arm and do your front wheels not touch the body/fenders when cranking the steering wheel full turn left/right?
@@95toycrawler Like I said, if we just did rock crawling, I would do that. But I don’t want to have portals on there during a 600 mile adventure ride in the desert or bombing through the dunes. Does not make sense.

After seeing this performance I'd love to see a fleet of these given to SAR-Search & Rescue, throughout the U.S.!! Big time!! Timing is everything!!!
Dang, that big girl like the rocks and sand with that set up!! Nice.
You make it look easy. Sure it's not!!
You have that car set up perfectly! Great video
Thank you 🙏🏻
Awesome vid! Quality content for sure which is hard to find on the X3. Followed 👍
Awesome video, bravo .
You did it! Very good work. Greetz from Germany
I was at this rally. With what little experience I have in the rocks, it was a blast. I didn't run these lines though.
Sand Hollow has a little bit for everyone
Awesome video as always. Sand Hollow is definitely on my list. Hope to see you out at Hammers this year! 🍻

My next will be an rmax. I hate these school buses. Very cool video!!
Great video. Where are you at in Montana?
Very cool with that size of tire what psi did you run
System 3 XCR350 tires - 35-inch at 10psi in the rocks
Thanks for the info I’m a newer atv rider but always love the utv
Really good video, i might consider rock crawling now😅😅
Huge fan of yours I watch all your videos
@@abcd321fort7 thanks bro👌🍻
sorry if i missed it did you have to do any clutch work to outfit the 35's? thank you
Stock clutch
Awesome 👌
I'm curious on your ground clearance measurement?
What tires are you running? Did you upgrade the suspension for those tires?
35-inch System 3 Off-Road XCR350 tires. Full details on build in the description and we talk about a lot of it towards the end of the video
Where did you get the attachment for the wheel in the back I need one of those
Assault Industries-all of the build info is in the description

No ours is a 72-inch.
Ur x3max looks bad ass bro
I want a setup like this. You ever thought about doing 4 inch portals ?
If we were purely rock crawling, it would be a great option. But we do everything with this car. Dunes, desert and rocks
@@UTVGuide101 the slikrok production guys claim they are great for everything.

Right at home
What kind of tires do you guys have on the can am
35-inch System 3 XCR350 tires
Did u had to upgrade the clutch for the 35tires?
Nope
What GPS do you use and does it crumb trail your track?
Gaia GPS. And yes you can record your route.
I wonder what the total price of this setup is.. i have no real idea, but it's gotta be 70k plus right?
Scared to add it up, but we’d say most likely less than 60K
I have the same x3
Excellent choice! 😎
Sweet. How's it handle the 35" meats on that beast? I'm guessing you could tell in the sand. I was thinking of going to a 32 on my xrs rr 2 seater
It did awesome!
Is your model 72 wide or 64?
72-inch
Maybe call it a cart or buggy. Its no a CAR. Thanks for the video. Im about to pull the trigger on one ;)
Some people call them bikes! LOL
My uncle just bought one just an hour ago
Oh I wish I was younger cause I’d be pooping my pants in that.
Super let down I wanted to see the full clip going down that hill

Cool I sold all my UTV's and jeeps bought an extra 300 aerobatic airplane so much more fun. I do some low passes over guys driving RZRs.
Interesting flex bro.
Sure you do. Or you just ignore 91.119
