Something the movie didn't cover which is interesting: the MSM harped on about Yanukovich's extravagant villa "angry Maidan protesters stormed the abandoned mansion, shocked at the opulence..." but they never mentioned that this was just the official state residence of Ukraine, where all his predecessors lived also. It's a smoke & mirrors world indeed...but one thing is for sure, Ukraine is just yet another country caught in the pincers of the Great Game of international intrigue and statecraft.

The origins of the current conflict are the coup d'etat carried out by pro Russian separatists against a democratic decision to remove Yanukovych by parliamentary vote and have free elections. I found the Putin dictator vs Zelensky hero MSM narrative too simplistic for a situation decades in the msking ...and decided to read up on Ukraine’s modern political history. And this documentary was a good starting point. Very complex is the situation. The involvement of too many shady characters and geo-political stakeholders.

You can't articulate your own argument and it makes no sense. Saakashvili is a minor figure in Ukrainian politics. He resigned his position in Odessa a year after taking it, he was a friend of Poroshenko, then an enemy, then Zelensky reinstated his citizenship.

Something the movie didn't cover which is interesting: the MSM harped on about Yanukovich's extravagant villa "angry Maidan protesters stormed the abandoned mansion, shocked at the opulence..." but they never mentioned that this was just the official state residence of Ukraine, where all his predecessors lived also. It's a smoke & mirrors world indeed...but one thing is for sure, Ukraine is just yet another country caught in the pincers of the Great Game of international intrigue and statecraft.

Finally, i have time to sit down to watch it. Its tells a whole different story than the one I was told by the West. It has alot of insight infos to help me to understand the history and cause of the crisis. Honestly, when I listened to how Putin talks in this video, he is not as ruthless and as crazy as how the mainstream media portrait him.

I found the Putin dictator vs Zelensky hero MSM narrative too simplistic for a situation decades in the msking ...and decided to read up on Ukraine’s modern political history. And this documentary was a good starting point. Very complex is the situation. The involvement of too many shady characters and geo-political stakeholders.
One of those shady characters is Yanukovich who was sponsored by Russia. You started out with obvious Russian propaganda... if you want to know the truth then watch independent channels/documentaries.
