They've been working, including on this song, with Kayoko Kusano, whose name may be unfamiliar to overseas fans but is well-known in the music industry in Japan (though her song "Gurenge" will be familiar overseas). EoE are doing a show at LineCube in Tokyo in November, which I'd like to go to-they do need to be busier with live gigs.

This is another band that I know I will love everything they put out. Top tier talent and the violin just make them worth listening to. I can understand what you are saying about the video. I wish also they would have spent longer on Wakazaemon but then again, I love her. I love how she dances around back there just getting into the music.
I agree with you Mr. B!!!!! I Love the song but the video did make it difficult to focus on the actual playing!!! Wakazaemon is; IMO; one of the Best, if Not THE BEST, bassists out there 2day!!! And I ABSOLUTELY LOVE her 💕!!!! I Love all the ladies of EOE, but Waka-Chan is my Favorite!!!!! Loved Mizuki's 🥁 drumming in this as well!!!! She had GR8 fills and her transitions were seamless!!!! I would have like to have seen them though not just hear them. Since this premiered I have listened to it over and over again, and with each listen I hear something new!!!! IMO, EAST of EDEN elevated and took their music to another level with Cross Roads and it's become my new favorite song by them!!!!!! Enjoyed your reaction!!!! Welll I ;ike Evolve a bit more because I can imagine some slightly crazy classical person rescoring it for full orchestra and leaving every section wiped out after six minutes. I mean this is good and I so second the idea the video lets it down.

Think you'l like the tune and heck you may even some of the band members form France. They are of an age that they might have been the new young kids when you were becoming a 'respected veteran'.
