FNF feels like it’s gonna be the next Pizza Tower, as in a small dev team getting backed by a passionate community, taking a few years to develop the game to the fullest, and then releasing it as an amazing high quality experience.

honestly, i feel like fnf is another omori situation. fun passion project gets made and becomes extremely popular. kickstarter comes up for full game version of it. kickstarter gets even beyond what was needed. after a couple years people start to think the devs took the money and ran. in reality the devs were trying their hardest to make the best game possible. game becomes even more popular than the original project.

15:35 I do remember seeing a build of Darnell week where his laughing animation was used in his eponymous song for when he goes “ah-ah-ah-ah” So I think this animation is gonna be used in the middle of the song for that line, similar to tankmans ugh animation
if i recall correctly, when the darnell songs leaked they had the darnell and pico voice files separated and it turns out that "ah ah ah ah" was actually pico singing (it's just lower pitched which makes it sound like darnell so tons of fan charts for the song used the laughing animation for that) also there's this video which people have been speculating may be footage of the real build with the official chart for the song ua-cam.com/video/_RnLyZRIW1Y/v-deo.html in this video the "ah ah ah ah" is charted on pico's side (also the charting in general looks pretty "base game-y" to me so i wouldn't be surprised if it's real

i do so much research into fnf and i know everything you can know about what we've seen for the next update, and you have, unlike most other youtubers when talking about the next update, have actually gone over practically everything to every detail and i can only thank you for actually going over EVERYTHING we've seen so far. One thing i think though is the animated icons phantom arcade made i THINK are used when the enemys icon is changing from normal to their dead icon, so it smoothly changes instead of just changes. also id like to say erics leak showing the new health bar movement and seperate vocals, in the pause menu it also now shows the artist with the song in the pause screen. also one old thing eric once showed was a shader test in the base game, but this was super long ago before i think ninjamuffin brought up eric being on the dev team like last year. Also my assumption is week 8 will be hank since we know hank has been planned, and now cassette girl likely is not going to be in the game, and i think we are finally getting the battle mode which was long ago cut from the game and it seems now the unused "combo" sprite from the ludum dare version of the game will be back in the game under the combo number sprites as seen from the very original week 8 leak on the now hidden newgrounds link

But overtime I’ve realized they’re actually trying to come out with a good game that lives up to the hype that died off and it actually takes a good amount of time to make a game. (Especially since they’re such a small team and not a triple A game)

Oh man im glad this popped up in my recs randomly. This was very helpful! I mostly only pay attention to the mod scene, so its cool to see this much info on the base game! Fnf has occupied a quarter of my brain power since the begnning of 2021 (jesus christ) when i saw fanart of week 6 and memes about whitty when he was the only oc mod out there. I was avtually super confused when i experienced the game the first time because..i thought...whitty was in the game lmao....maybe he'll get a cameo one day, who knows. As for resourcing the fandom community, i know theyve picked some musicians, but i also think it'd be cool if they maybe considered hiring some of the animators? It sounds like theres a ton of workload on that end, so idk. Hiring Zero or the animator who did Baddies' art would be super cool, but who know. Either way i'm super hyped for the next update!!

ive gotten out of fnf, but the fact that Hideki Naganuma, a guy that's working on the erect remixes, is the SAME GUY that made the music for Jet Set Radio, AND Sonic Rush, which both have banger soundtracks. I'm excited to hear the erect remixes.
I love Fnf, me and my friends where planing on making a small, not that good, mod for the game, but the sprites are to big and excel the pixel limit. If anyone can help, that would be great. ( please tell us how to shrink the sprites but keep them the quality there at now)

FNF Week 8 is the one thing that I've been waiting for, for 2 years straight. I never left FNF hanging, no I was there in these 2 years just waiting. It's now December 15 and Week 8 is FINALLY happening sometime in this month since PhantomArcade confirmed that this update will come out in 2023, even if it's at December 31 2023 11:59:59.999999999999 blah blah whatever, he days it is coming out IN 2023. FNF idea: What if there was a boss battle that if you sing right you attack with your mic and damage the boss's healthbar and if you don't hit dodge notes, your healthbar goes down, and you die, and the song is a looping track with 2 sections (1 normal, and the other one a pinch mode like Sonic Advance)

They got 2.2 million dollars from the kickstarter, i'm sure they can afford to spend 100 bucks to get the game on steam.

ive gotten out of fnf, but the fact that Hideki Naganuma, a guy that's working on the erect remixes, is the SAME GUY that made the music for Jet Set Radio, AND Sonic Rush, which both have banger soundtracks. I'm excited to hear the erect remixes.
Hideki isnt on the team, ninjamuffin confirmed that. I cant say who IS the secret musician exactly but it’s someone almost as awesome
I love Fnf, me and my friends where planing on making a small, not that good, mod for the game, but the sprites are to big and excel the pixel limit. If anyone can help, that would be great. ( please tell us how to shrink the sprites but keep them the quality there at now)
Just use psyche engine community build. It's much better than the original game and you can create large sprites to.

Also i can understand not all songs being given erect remixes, i just hope the songs that dont get a remix arent exactly very important or that the song is so good it dosent need a remix.
phantomarcade said the reason why some songs won't have erect remixes is because they may have some really wacky mechanics associated with them which would make erect remixes for them awkward to implement in the gameplay

FNF Week 8 is the one thing that I've been waiting for, for 2 years straight. I never left FNF hanging, no I was there in these 2 years just waiting. It's now December 15 and Week 8 is FINALLY happening sometime in this month since PhantomArcade confirmed that this update will come out in 2023, even if it's at December 31 2023 11:59:59.999999999999 blah blah whatever, he days it is coming out IN 2023. And he says that if it dosent come this year, it will NEVER come

FNF idea: What if there was a boss battle that if you sing right you attack with your mic and damage the boss's healthbar and if you don't hit dodge notes, your healthbar goes down, and you die, and the song is a looping track with 2 sections (1 normal, and the other one a pinch mode like Sonic Advance)
This idea was proposed by Sr. Pelo like two years ago.

The update will come, I'm certain it's going to be by the near end of the year.
PhantomArcade did say the thing he wants the most is the update to be out this year, even if its December 31st, but even he is not sure of when it'll come out.

@@17_bucks Project making is hard, man, especially when you have to make a game so big as FNF. The video itself explains it, deadlines are detrimental so it's better to just focus on "what has to be done" rather on "when it has to be done".

2:25 seriously people need to stop using distrokid this happens all of the time to artists I like that use distrokid. The auto generated label names are really dumb and I've seen countless articles, threads and videos begging people not to use distrokid and just use anything else.
