"I played shows in Boston, too!"
"(loud cheers)"
DC better
Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but it seems like Kenny Urban is the embodiment of Joe. From the way he's dressed, to his appearance on stage, he comes off as that sound in the back of your head that you never quite forget.
I totally agree with you
the smile he has on his face the whole time
Kenny Urban has cool beatboxing!
He does!
Little detail, the clock in the back says 3:30, a reference to their song Three-Thirty off The Click
Or maybe it’s a reference to 3 O’clock things because this is the type of stuff you think about at 3 AM
I think it's from the song 3:30 cause it's the normal time people usually get out of school
RYAN IS SUCH A GOOD SINGER BRO
Kenny is literally just the cool kid in class
I love Ryan's voice so much
I ironicly know someone named joe and I am in high school who sounds exactly like this joe
Awesome 💙 nice video 🖤
FINALLY
I had no idea Ryan sang this song… does he sing this in the studio version?!?
i dont think so. it sounds like jack
i think so yeah
On the studio version he sings from 2:30 to 2:52. He wrote the song, though, and it is about his own experience.
Thanks for explaining!
Notice the clock: Three-Thirty
Sorry to bail it’s already 3 o clock
dang who new god was smoking eights on school days
No i think hes saying JOE was smoking eights on school days not god
@@GageOn60Ping "I believed in god back in eighth grade, he could smoke an eighth on a school day"
It's him saying he basically worshipped him like how people worship God, you know? He thought he was so cool, and wanted to impress him. That's kinda what this whole song's about, wanting to impress this kid he thought was cool in 8th grade
Maybe I'll put out this song
And I won't change your name at all
Maybe then you'll call me up
And you'll tell me how cool I got.
Where is Jack?
No idea, probably staring at that button again…
This isn't AJR it's just A
