  • Fox Sailor - Medusa (from the upcoming album MYTHS & LEGENDS - CHAPTER III)
    Lyrics :
Medusa, her eyes pierce through the night,
    deadly and divine,
With a glance, she'll turn your heart to stone,
    forever locked inside,
Oh Medusa, her beauty is a curse,
    a mythical demise,
    In the shadows she'll haunt,
forever bound by her serpentine eyes

The ending vocals took me by surprise. If I could 'love' instead of 'like' I would.

This song represents a mythical villain, but why does it sound so heroic? Like we saw the good side of her.

That's just in the Roman version of it. In the Greek versions. She was always a monster and had never been a human in the first place

Medusa was a muse in Greek mythology. Hera was jealous of her fame and turned her into a monster.

She was a victim of assault by posiedon. It wasn't her choice to become a villan.

Ikr, Fox Saliors music helped me complete a novel of my own, and surprisingly brings out emotions that allows you to capture details of both the story and the characters rises and falls. this man is a legend

Superb music with superb artwork! Chapeau bas!
PS I would have replied sooner, but I couldn't help looking into the Medusa's beautiful eyes, and... you know what happened next. Fortunately I know a mage who can reverse petrifaction!
