The difficulty in this is how do you convince people with acrophobia to lean backward off an 8th level railing as their first exposure? These clinical takeaways from the research are enlightening, but it must increase attrition when you do away with hierarchies and initial coping skills that are truly safety signals but they build confidence that the harder work can be done.

This is some gr8 work. I love the going back to the start, and developing a novel approach from the same origins. Context pairing, of course. It comes down to self efficacy, again. Not about fear extinction - it never was. How could it be - that would be a pathological learning that it is difficult to see how it would be selected for. Nice one. Nothing new in this sub field in a long time.

It was very informative until the very very end where it seemed to lose its way and become irritatingly archaic and muddled.
