For Albedo being Azmuth's assistant in the past. He made the Ultimatrix really shitty, its a miracle that it hasn't accidentally went into self destruct mode when Ben is having a conversation with Gwen or Kevin
Albedo didn’t make it he just made some adjustments and gave it a base
the ultimatrix took most of the base of the OG omnitrix, yet the ultimate option hurted it a lot

People crap on the Ultimatrix, but at least its scan function is probably the most useful out of them. The Prototype has to be touched by a potentially dangerous enemy, the OV omnitrix will lock you out of the Omnitrix if it notices an alien that's uncatalouged...and can notice it from out of orbit, so you have to search an entire planet in 30 seconds or it will lock you out. The Ultimatrix at least scans an alien from a distance, but close enough that you don't have to play Where's Waldo, but if you don't find Waldo, the Omnitrix bricks
Still not without fault....the ultimatrix still doesnt work if it doesnt get the scan at least the prototype didn't do that
@@metalmario1231 But it wont care if you're out of range unlike the official Omnitrix. Not to mention the scan function usually is only a few seconds, unlike the official Omnitrix where Ben was there on Anur Transyl for a pretty good while until it claimed the Omnitrix said a new alien was unlocked through Whampire.
The Prototype has to be contacted as well, and in the case of the Yenaldooshi, can damage the Omnitrix and lock it in capture mode(and if it can be done by an alien wolf, what about literally any hostile creature with claws). At least the Ultimatrix doesn't always keep Ben locked out unlike the official Omnitrix, and can be done from range that doesn't put Ben or itself in immediate danger, unlike the Prototype. Plus, the Ultimatrix we have seen every time EXCEPT for Bivalvan that he can just choose to not scan unlike the prototype which involuntarily scanned all the aliens or the official Omnitrix which was a little b**** when Lord Transyl came back to life and was literally on the planet they had left a while ago Ultimatrix wouldn't have given a f*** that Lord Transyl was resurrected nor gotten damaged by the Yenaldooshi, because it would be to far for it to scratch.
@@AlexanderScott66honestly, it's less about Ultimatrix being good (it's really not, speaking strictly in-universe) and more about The Omnitrix being kinda shitty. UI alone is completely terrible and it somehow still has many quirks of older models.
The recalibrated Omnitrix cannot scan any new aliens due to it being a recalibrated watch 🤷♂️ I like the Ultimatrix Bc it can scan any new aliens that isn’t in the Code on stream
@flashlinestudio5669 Actually, we know the Recalibrated Omnitrix can scan new aliens because of the S3 pilot when Ben had lost several aliens and had to rescan them to add them back to the Omnitrix. Azmuth specifically states that Ben has to put the Omnitrix into scan mode. It even is the same color during scan mode as during OS.

I Always loved the DNA scan scenes, it shows that when Azmuth created the Omnitrix he knew that he wasn’t going to be able to collect every D.N.A Sample out there in the Universe. So he installed a Capture Mode so as to make sure that even on a planet with an unknown species, the Omnitrix could still fulfill its mission of bringing different members of species closer together. Azmuth truly was the First Thinker. He figured out that there was one thing more important in the Universe than fighting over Power or Control, one thing that held more value than a single species proving itself to be better or superior than others, that one thing… was the ability to understand others different from yourself, by putting yourself in their own shoes.
To see what they see.
To Feel what they feel.
To Live their way of life as your own…
He understood the Power of Empathy.
And yet he decided to lock transformation when new dna is detected rather than locking transformation shortly before scanning.

Well for those who are wondering '' omnitrix did touch so many alien but they didn't got unlocked as transformation. It seems omnitrix doesn't capture mutated DNA. Like vilgax isn't pure of his DNA, he was a cyborg that time. Also unstable DNA. Also Writers.
Edit: I just went through all the 434 pop up trivia of Ben 10 classic and i found that the loboan didn't scratch but switched the capture mode in the prototype omnitrix and as being not completed omnitrix was stuck between active mode and capture mode. And even Ben talks about how cool it would be to transform into Vilgax!!!

If everytime a new alien touches the omnitrix he gets the DNA sample. Then why didn't he get Vilgax, An anodites dna, a osmosian Dna. Or argit, or pshypons species. There are so many alines that were uncatolouged Dna and were never scanned.
I think they’re already in the omnitrix and he doesn’t want to use them it’s that or he hasn’t unlocked them yet cause I don’t think he had master control in omniverse
Most of the aliens he scanned were already extinct or lived in another galaxy which made it impossible for Azmuth to obtain their DNA at the time of collection. The only exception was "Overkill" (not real name), which was done because Ben made the Ultimatrix to scan him, thus unlocking him.
Edit: I forgot about early DNA scans. There was never any explanation for those instances, so I think it's just the Omnitrix doing its thing because it was touched by those aliens, thus unlocking them.
Vilgax was scanned but than when vilgax tried to take out Ben omnitrex when he was a kid the dna of vilgax was gone

Would Revanaganders make for a fair alien race in the Omnitrix? Rook had serious training to get to his skills, and Revanaganders usually make up an entire planet of farming communities. Then again, if the watch could pick up aliens like Walkatrout and The Worst, anything is possible.

I like how overkill/chamaleon was already in the omnitrix and it said recognized so that means it was already part of it but it was unlocked from behind master control I guess I never realized that before for some reason lol

If it's red then it's in recharge mode
If it's yellow then it's scanning the DNA
If it's orange it's on self distrucked mode
If it's blue then it's recalibrating

I feel like there should have been an abort sequence so it wasn’t so hard to transform when the ultimatrix found uncatalogued dna like: Ultimatrix, command function override code 10. Ultimatrix, Abort dna acquisition, command code 000 abort dna acquisition 0
There most likely is, even a function to have the watch work while capturing dna
But its set to work agressively like that by default, probably azmuths doing so ben wouldnt miss the capture

I've never understood how Ghostfreak broke out of the watch. Someone told me he wasn't a scan but was a prisoner but I don't know if that's true

The alien would likely transform into a human of the same ethnicity as Ben, since that's the human DNA sample the omnitrix got.
The Omnitrix has the ability to transform the user into different subspecies os the same specie if it has a sample of the DNA from both species, as shown with Upchuck, whose species is divided into the Perks and the Murks. Ben can transform into both and choose wich one to transform into.
There's like a milion subspecies of spiders on earth, however... The same is not the case for humans. Genetically speaking, there's no difference from a black person, to a white person, to an asian, or whatever. There's only one human race.
We're all made of different colors, and shapes, and sizes, because that's the nature of humanity, we're adaptable on an individual level. You put a human who never saw snow in his life into the artic, they will not like it at first, but not long after they will be totally accustomed to the new environment.
We are all different. We are not the same. But this is beautiful. And that's okay. In all our differences, that's what makes us human.

I don’t understand. Was every alien Ben catalogued not in the Omnitrix database. And I don’t mean just not in his roster; Ben in theory could turn into any alien Azmuth sampled. So did Azmuth not ever sample all those aliens?
Ghostfreak was removed from the Omnitrix when Zs'Skayr escaped in the original series, then put back when the DNA was resampled. He was removed a second time sometime before Alien Force, but then got put back in the Omnitrix again by Ben (not shown in this video).
I think the other Halloween aliens in the original series (Blitzwolfer, Snare-oh, and Frankenstrike) were already in the Omnitrix, and they were forcibly unlocked by Ben coming into contact with members of their species. Chamalien was also unlocked by Ben manually scanning a member of his species, as his DNA was already in the Omnitrix.
The Andromeda aliens (Waterhazard, Terraspin, NRG, Armodrillo, and AmpFibian) weren't in the Omnitrix at all because they're from another galaxy. So when the Ultimatrix got close to them, it automatically scanned them and added their DNA. Whampire is the same case, since his species was extinct before Azmuth started collecting DNA. So when a member of his species was revived, the Omnitrix went into scanning mode automatically.
