So, we went back and watched this video again after talking with you about it, (Tony remembered the squirrel situation 😂), because we are going to an event in New Jersey next May and this would be a great halfway point. Great campground, I would avoid trails with snakes and head straight to the casino! Thanks for the recommendation! - Tina

I can't believe it, we are booked there August 17th. We have site 25. We are really excited, we are staying at swallow tail falls for 2 nights before arriving at rocky gap.
If I had some brains, I should remember more about Western MD. I took the train from Cumberland to Frostburg and mentioned my best friend lived in Cumberland and LaVale. Good memories! That overlook really did have a great view. This is a beautiful state park. I can see why this is the best ever campground. Or possibly not. One of the best perhaps. It's up there anyway. You made it close to the east coast. Now you just gotta go south for a bit and you will be in our stomping grounds. Enjoyed this week's adventure!
