Nice job. I only got 31 pleces of 3x3 cut comb this year. I took 12 to market and sold 9. I did get some scraps to use in chunk honey. My chunk honey wont sell very well until the comb is sold out. Im ok with that becuse i like the way it looks on the table.
Looks good! Do you sell the ones with open cells too? I planned on putting the ones with the open cells in a jar of honey and sell it as chunk comb. The crisscrossed rack is great!
No We'll just give those away to friends or something like that. I don't like to do chunk comb. Our honey crystallizes pretty easily, and I'd rather not mess with reliquefying, etc . We tried once but they didnt really sell. Are you selling yours Brian?
@@flowerstreetfarmbees We've had some requests for it so we are going to try. Gus Mitchell mentioned he drops them in his jars when they are warm so they sort of stick to the bottom and don't float and he puts the lid on the jar but won't put the liquid honey in until they are about to be sold. I don't know if yours would crystalize in the comb though.
Thanks for another video on your process. Blessed Days Bryan...
