I agree with @coilyDiaries! I’d rather the video had just been posted today with no notice, than thinking it was posted six days ago and then finding out I had to wait a week to watch it😅.

The way I brush is very similar! My hair is like the middle back of yours, then gets more tangly than that all over so I feel like I have to use a tangle teaser each time, even though I’d rather only use my fingers. I’ve been doing silk presses because my hair is soooo tangly and I haven’t quite figured out the proper styling product to do a braid out which I would prefer. I have bra strap length hair and would like to get to hip length. Thanks so much for your videos!!!❤❤❤

Great video as always! I use a method that’s a little similar to yours but I definitely learned to use more product. My problem is that I tend to get a lot of webbing knots which makes it harder to finger detangle without losing hair. Do you have tips for that?

More product may help, and pulling apart sideways before up and down/ raking through hair.

Great video! Im thinking of getting the same tangle teezer, as i have a similar one that i lovee.
My only confusion is deep conditioning before shampoo you said. This would cut down my wash day time CONSIDERABLY, but is it not counterproductive to shampoo out the conditioner? Wont it dry out the hair?

@IfSheSoPleases !!! my hair is really dry right now. I wash it every week so I can deep condition it, but I want to reach my goal faster but with moisture.
I oil my scalp, leave in, oil my hair, and grease the ends.
    I need some help!!!
How do you wash your hair and is it okay to deep condition on just wet hair instead of washed right?

Great video! Your videos are very motivating and help me stick to my hair goals/ regimen. I big chopped a few years ago and due to several set backs my hair is still a lot shorter than it should be. Detangling is where I’ve gotten a lot of breakage in the past so I found this very helpful. My hair type is similar to yours and I also have a section in the back of my head that tangles more, shrinks more and yet it’s the most fragile. On next wash day I’m going to be trying a deep conditioner by Eden Body Works from their aloe & lavender line. Have you tried any of their products?

What do you think about curlsmith conditioner? I’ve been using that for my deep conditioner. For some reason, I have to detangle before I wash, and the only thing that seems to work is aloe Vera. It’s the only thing that seems to give me enough slip while also keeping my curls elongated long enough for me to detangle. My hair shrinks to the point of looking like a short Afro. I’m going to try detangling after shampooing to see how it goes. Thanks for sharing!

I just tried the Curlsmith scalp recipe deep conditioner and oh my goodness I’m in LOVE! It made my hair feel soooo soft. It’s the moisture I’ve been looking for for a long time. This just might be my holy grail, but I have to use it a few more times to know for sure.

This isn't a lot of shedding at all in fact it is unreal how little you shed in 2 weeks with full long hair! My hair is medium density and barely shoulder length and your amount of shedding is what I have after 3/4 days which now seems a little concerning to me
