It is so great to watch the whole family involved in your quail.❤️❤️ I am so sorry about that mishap on your head. If you haven't had a booster for Tetnus recently as others are saying, probably a good idea to get one. Really good reflexes to catch those crowd breakers. Thank You for sharing.
We do most things as a family. The kids are so eager to help
1 to 5 ratio is the most but the more male that I had the more the female's were harassed. Tell Leighton you all have a CD full of Quail books. And a Button Quail book.

I always put 5 females to 1 male with my quail also you need to harvest them at or around 6 weeks of age. That will give you the best meat. You wait until 2 or 3 months you want gain enough meat for the food intake plus the meat will be so much tougher..

Hey Brandon, first of all you want to clean that cut with soap and water 2nd if the wire cut you you should get a tetanus shot to be on the safe side. I just love watching the kids helping out and the quail cracking open their eggs that is really cool. So whats next for RWW keep up the good work and see you in the next video🤔😯🤕💉👍😉

Depends on who you talk to but the lady we got our quail from does 2 males to 6 females. If they start picking on each other than you know you have too many males 😉

We had white quail and they were Texas A&M
I heard that some Texas A.M. are white.
The Coturnix Quail are sometimes white. Either with dark markings or all white with a light beak.
Usually breeders will keep 3 to 5 female to male. 4 is average. Too few and your girls may look all beat up. Too many and all eggs may not be fertilized. If your girls are being bred too often, add another female or 2 to the group.

You can get 30 eggs in incubator for about $150

@@EddyFamilyFarm he is well trained ,when the little girl left him out I heard you say kennel and he went right in and he is gentle with your children my Uncle had one german shepherd and he was nasty ,he had to keep him caged at the house
Yes he’s really good listening to commands. That was one thing about getting a dog I wanted to be sure the dogs would get along with my kids and he does a great job
Will snakes be able to get in the cages and eat your quail?
